True, however I think that it should be for Champions and runners up only no third place positions. The idea of a fairytale run is nothing more than a pipe dream and most of these clubs from "smaller" leagues get knocked out early anyway.

The debate here is how you qualify - 2nd or 3rd is not champions and the trophy has been devalued - Liverpool were worthy champions in the 80s but never should have been in it since let alone get to a couple of finals - I am sure there are many other examples of clubs qualifying without winning their league as well and probably winning it - United????

Whilst the results were poor and Scottish Football is very poor these days, I wouldn't mind betting both Rangers and Celtic Advance. Rangers should have been at least 2-0 up at halftime and 2 lapses cost them but I believe they will do enough. Whilst Celtic didn't score neither did Sion and they didn't look like it either - I think Celtic will do the job away
