Quit bitching, you've got that Oxlade-Chamberlain. He'll be great in 4 or 5 years.

I think its gonna be hard for Wenger to bring in any established, world class players now to replace Febregas and Nasri. It's alright having all those millions to spend but its gonna be hard to attract the really top players now that Arsenal are seen to be pretty much a selling club!

I used to really hate Wenger but I have to admit to feeling a bit sorry for him over their disaster of a Summer. Nasri is just a money grabbing mercenary so he'll feel right at home with his new comrades at City.

I hope Nasri breaks his leg on his debut...preferably in 2 or 3 places.

he's already a bit part player at City.
that's what happens when you chase $$$$ and the club can afford better players than you

Is that as opposed to chasing the $ and not having any ambition/stones to challenge yourself at a higher level like your namesake?

There is no higher level than CL winners.

Wenger to select Nasri for Liverpool game according to BBC! That would be very interesting.

Wenger advised during pre game interview he is in the squad and could be selected to start. He also went on to say if Nasri was not suspended Tuesday he would of started in the CL

I think start him, he will add that creativity we have lacked already this season

Last time he was at the Emirates and even Newcastle last week the crowd got stuck into him, wonder if they do the same tonight

On the Fox guide it only says it's showing Ars v LFC from 10:30-11:23pm. I've checked it out though, the match is on the red button from 9:45pm. http://www.foxsports.com.au/football/pr ... 6117697737

am i right in saying 12.45 BST = 9.15 south aussie time? this is the time of arse pool k/o

which would mean newcastles game (12 bst) is 830

I'm just going by that advert in the link I posted. Said the Sunderland v Newcastle game starts at 9, and our game at 9:30pm.

So Nasri is available, I would start him. Couple of injuries and suspensions have not come at the right time so we are a wee bit light on for the vist of the Liverpoo

With whats available, I would go

-----------------Cheezer-------------------

Jenkinson----Kozzie----Verms-----Sagna

-----------------Frimpong--------------

-----------Ramsey----------Nasri------

Walcott-----------RVP-----------Arshavin

Chamakh
Ryo
Oxe-chamberlain
Lansbury
Miquel

Will be a tough battle but the above team should still get the points at home against a confident pool team... Thoughts..??

Cant wait for kickoff!

another kid signing for arsenal
Arsenal sign Costa Rica international Joel Campbell

Arsenal have completed the signing of teenage Costa Rican forward Joel Campbell from Deportivo Saprissa.

The 19-year-old has signed a "long-term contract" to move from his homeland for an undisclosed fee.

Campbell scored for Costa Rica against Bolivia in this summer's Copa America and has six international caps.

"It is a dream come true to play for such a big club in England and I want to do well for myself and Costa Rica," Campbell said.

"I am ready, I am very happy to be here and I want to focus on doing well for Arsenal.

"I'm good in one-on-ones and I am a player who knows how to score goals. I play forward and I can play on both sides.

"Arsene Wenger is a manager of immense quality. I took this decision because I know I have a possibility to become a better player here."

Arsenal announced they were close to signing Campbell on 12 August.

Speaking at that time, Wenger said: "[He] has shown that he is a player with great ability, and has performed well on the international stage at a young age.

"We look forward to the formalities of the transfer being completed and working with Joel when he joins us at Arsenal."
