Pivotal point in the game - I think Gervinho got touched, albeit slightly. Then barton pulls him up by the throat and escapes with a yellow -_- lol
Wonder if they still want Barton lol.
the fans would probably hate it

but he would be good for them i think

not like it matters, no nasri and no fabregas... little time to replace them -_- gonna be a tough year for the arse

Good point, bit unlucky with the red card, but at least we still have Gervinho for the Udinese clashes!

Cesc out- finally, what a relief....just spewing it didn't happen earlier so we could get a replacement ASAP, going to be hard now!

If Nasri leaves, i will never forgive him.

+1

Nasri scenario will drag on as he is suspended for Udinese first leg, so no need to rush the transfer thru! Were dreamin if we think we can get Tevez part of the deal

don't think anyone believes it to be honest, someone just made it up and now it's circulating....he would get know where near as much as he would at Citeh with us so no chance of it!

Gonna be missing Song for 3 matches if the UK media is to be believed. Ref says he didn't see the stamp.

Just play the kids

Very lucky to walk away from Emirates in front this morning.

Tie well and truly alive when they play in Udine. They are a great counter attacking side.

1 nil win over Udinese this morning. Theo scored after 4mins

Very lucky to get the result this morning, happy with the result thou in the current climate at the Emirates! 2nd clean sheet on the trot must give the defence some confidence, unfortunalty Gibbs went off at halftime injured and his replacement Djouro went off 10mins later
Performance wise we were poor! Couldnt keep the ball for 5 passes, no creativity, to direct with no end result and still gave them too many chances with Cheezer saving our bacon sometimes esp in the first half.

Sitting up in the stand Wenger would of had to seen what it looks like for the fans (most empty ive ever seen the Emirates aswell, spare seats everywhere) and its not looking all to positive. Felt like watching golf, with the only time you heard the Arsenal crowd was a moan everytime we gave the ball away! We need reinforcements and we need them quickly, not only for on the pitch but to also get the supporters back on song and show us that you still have what it takes to keep us in the top tier of European clubs. Wenger needs to spend whatever money he has available

Speaking to some family in the UK they are saying Wenger has signed this young defender Angelo Ogbonna from Torino. Ogbonna is a big strong left back that Wenger sees as a CB, also apparently he is in talks with Mario Götze. Dortmund's Gotze is Fabregas replacement and Ganso is also on the Wengers radar.

Liverpool next minus Gervinho and Song suspended - after one league game

Ogbonna is a good defender with a bright future but i still think they need a proven centre back in the EPl so someone like Cahill, Jagielka or Samba would also be needed.
i would be happy with the signings of Ganso as he is a really good player and gotze is already a star everytime i see him play with dortmund he stands out!
we still need Benzema to come!

Hazard being linked with us heavily...another clean sheet this morning, definitely happy with 1-0 as it could've been so different, wow imagine had Theo put that one away 90th minute really would've put us in good position!

Wouldn't have deserved it though, the best of the chances definitely fell to Udinese but for some reason they decided to shoot straight at the keeper. The Goons will be OK so long as they keep Vermaelen fit, without him Koscielny is dogshit. Aresenal are now a bit like Liverpool and Spurs, their best 11 is a decent side but there's not a lot of depth. Just depends on injuries and suspensions and Arsenal seem to be leading the way on that score.

PS. Good goal they scored

And now Eboue and Vela have gone as well. What's going on down there? Can't help but go back to the sinking ship analogy

I wonder whether Captain Wenger will go down with the ship?

Interesting words from the Goons manager
Arsene Wenger wrote:"Imagine the worst situation - we lose Fabregas and Nasri," stated Wenger. "You cannot convince people you are ambitious after that. You cannot pretend you are a big club.
Looks like Arsenal fans will no longer be able to consider themselves a 'big' club.

PS. I noticed that Cesc has already won a trophy with Barcelona. That didn't take long once he went to a big club.

If and buts......

Imagine if Udinese took all their chances, you would have lost 5-3.

I still think Arsenal will go through, but as an outsider you would have to question whether Wenger is on the same planet as everyone else. Why wait until this week to sell Cesc, leaving 12 or so days to find an ample replacement.

He has lost it.

I hope you're right about us going through nervous times for sure :(

Umm agree with that, don't understand what he is waiting for, we clearly need reinforcements. The quicker we bring 3-4 players the quicker we can call ourselves title contenders again.

Without Gervinho & Song suspended + injuries to Wilshere, Gibbs, Rosicky, Traore, Djourou not confident at all. Only thing on ourside is were at the Emirates.
With Gibbs & Traore out think Verms will play left back with Schillaci marker so that makes confidence even lower

Wonder if Nasri will play if he is not sold by tomorrow.. :?:

Not that it makes a massive difference but just read Arsenal Website and Djourou has a chance of playing on Sat.

You're missing a lot of players. Normally I don't look forward to a trip to the Emirates, but I'm not gonna lie, I'll be disappointed with anything less than 3 points this Saturday.
