It is discovered that the Ref is not the designated ref for the game, and is in fact the father of a boy in the heavily one sided team, this information was not told to the other side before kick off and they had no reason to question it as the Ref arrived in uniform. (very convenient)
After a half of absolutely, totally one sided decisions, with a free kick count of 12-1, the other side approach the Refs team and request they appoint another parent to officiate the second half, the score is 0-0.
The answer is a flat, no way, this parent is doing it, unless you can provide an official Ref. (A team with nothing to hide would welcome such a request and we ourselves have done this many times all year)
The second half begins and the same continues, any chance of a free is given and any chance the other way is not. Eventually the team getting nothing allday to their merit hit the front to go 1-0 up with 8 minutes to go, within that last 8 minutes the ref manages to hand out a direct red (not even for a tackle, but a swing and miss kick, also an ex player to the other team) making it 10 players, then awards a penalty for a player who tripped over the ball, also issuing another red to the player he fell into taking both to the ground, now making it 9 players and 1-1.
I have played this game and coached for 30 years and yes Refs do make errors, and yes some days are worse than others, but after what I witnessed today, at this club, this game needs to be seriously looked at.
Freekick count at fulltime 29-1, no team is that dirty or that clean.
No offence to the boys of the oposition they indeed played a great game as did the other, but the staff are a disgrace to put you into that situation.damn sheep station trophies
if it's that important call for a rematch, the FFSA tribunal will do it for such important comps

If this association had any type of professionalism they would never leave a top of the table clash unappointed, plain and simple, makes no difference what age or grade. Laugh or choke it just shows once again the lack of understanding by this association, shame, cos the kids are great.
