He looked a little bit better. More than likely a false dawn though. If you watched him last season you would have seen he did this a few times at Liverpool.ronaldo07 wrote:and if you cant see he has improve from last season then u should dig ur eye out with a plastic spoon !!Lucas is god wrote:Who said he was average? he's extremely talented but he is struggling at the moment. Re: Torres
I watched the game last night and realised a few things.
Firstly Torres did look like he is getting back to his old self.
Secondly how Salamon Kalou plays over Daniel Sturridge is a joke, Sturridge should be given a chance.
Thirdly how Stoke have not been relegated yet amazes me. They have to be the worst team to play football in the EPl. They did not even string 3 passes together all night.

did u even watch the second half?
the way we played, pushed the ball around etc was first class in the second half
if the ref gave a clear penalty to lampard we would of won
Re: Torres
Sturridge was suspended. He was red carded towards the end of last season with Bolton.21jumpstreet wrote:I watched the game last night and realised a few things.

Torres will fail to shine as the type of football of chelsea play doesn't suit him and his style

Re: Torres
It's definitely a good point.Giallorossi wrote:Torres will fail to shine as the type of football of chelsea play doesn't suit him and his style
I really think it depends on who else we sign, I think with guys like Malouda and Kalou around he won't perform. Once Sturridge comes back, and if we do sign another winger ( one that can actually dribble) I think he'll fit in alot better.

Yeah Sturrdge suspended for 3 games at the end of last year21jumpstreet wrote:I watched the game last night and realised a few things.

he was our best in pre-season so hopefully he gets a run this year
and i agree with stoke, they are one of the most negative team in the EPL, the long throw is there only real attacking threat

Re: Torres
I thought Torres looked good, but Malouda and Kalou are not the players you want around him in the front three if you want him to score a truck load of goals.

He looked better when Shawcross axed him down twice.
Villas Boas has his hands full imo. Good luck trying to juggle Anelka/Drogba/Torres and their formation this season.

Malouda and Kalou can fk right off IMO. Anelka looked alot better when he came on, and Sturridge is better than Kalou.
finally, someone else realises that kalou is as average as a daewoo
