Gawler 0
Seaford 2
This was a very hard fought game. Have to say seaford were very good but gawler stuck to their guns n made em fight hard for the game.
Just like to mention that this seaford team have some very good talent amongst them n will be a force to reckon with in the very near future....
Thanks for a good, tough but fair game :-)

Great result Fulham!
Bit disappointing from Cumby if post above correct sounds Cumby tactically poor...again
Good result for Cumby Reserves though, JP should be advising Prem team coaches going on results!!! :wink:

Fantastic result for Fulham. With some good players back now they are becoming more of a force.
Cumby...it's so absurd that they get such results this year. Did they miss many players or what happened?
OK with MJ having an impact up front, but what about Cumby's attack? I heard they were strong last week vs A.City with Balomenos in great form, I would have thought they'd put a few away vs Fulham (no disrespect intended). It's hard to explain...Were the likes of Slater etc. playing?

In answer to Bad Egg's question about who did or did not play - (not looking for excuses);
Cumby didn't have Calder (in USA for rest of season), Trimboli, Balomenos, Slater, Fimanno (she became unavailable at short notice but was originally named in the squad). Also didn't have Michael or Pantelis who would normally feature in their squad.
On balance Cumby had a higher percentage of the play/possession/chances on goal but were undone by finishing in front of goals, only converting about 10% of thier scoring opportunities while Fulham converted more like 2/3 of theirs.
Well played by both teams, but credit to MJ for converting her chances. Was also a great goal from Rhi Peate for Cumby.

Thanks pvfc. A lot of ppl (me included) have criticized Cumby for the surprising lack of results this year considering their squad. I said this before, but IMO they have by far the strongest lineup together with Olympic and their position on the ladder is a shame. If their side is so depleted though it's a different ball game.

Don't think they've ever played their 'best' team this season for one reason or another and now with Nic Calder in the USA -it can't happen. Pity really - could have made a competitive Premier League season even closer. Also have some good young players who can compete and always try to play good football. Doesn't always work....but at least they try

I think you will find many teams are/have been in this situation through out the season. That's football. Play the cards you've been dealt with. If you play them right - you'll get a full house :mrgreen:
