Div 1
A: OISC 1-1 BOSA
B: OISC 1-2 BOSA
Div 6
OISC 0-3 Southern Breakers
Don't know the other OISC results, sorry.
Referee was woeful all day in the A Grade match. Pitch was a leveller with BOSA unable to play their usual ball-playing style as crisply as they would have liked. OISC very lucky to still be in it when a BOSA player was sent off with about 5 to go, then both teams missed open goal to win the game.
El Diego texted me that:
A Villa beat Sturt Marion in the As
Wanderers beat Stirling in the As
Saints beat SV in the As
Means Africa relegated no matter what, A Villa 31, Saints 30, Bosa 28 (game in hand), SM 27
A: OISC 1-1 BOSA
B: OISC 1-2 BOSA
Div 6

Re: Saturday results
Wanderers beating Stirling means Africa and Jets gone as there is no way Jets are catching Wanderers especially the form Wanderers are in at moment so last game of season when both meet will mean nothing.

I must say as much as GIAE disagree on certain topics, of the pitch he is an OK guy. Unlike the idiot who comes to threaten me when I went to buy some beer form the bar. Mate you should fix your teeth and maybe buy a toothbrush as well. As much stuff gets said on the pitch when the game is done, whatever was said stays there. Don't be a sore looser, it never gets you anywhere. What do you expect really?? to shout out abuse at our club and we should just sit and do nothing pretending like its never happened. You give some then expect to get some back. Remember when you played at Cowandilla no one came to threaten you after the game. Keep that in mind next time!

Mate can you tell me why the hell they let the B's play on that ground before the A's when they could have played on the pitch right next it! Witch was in better condition or the A's could have played on the other pitch??
Re: Saturday results
Well said mate. Nothing wrong with getting fired up during the game and it happens the world over such is the passionate game we play. To any tossers who feel the need to carry on after the game should have a good hard look at themselves. That's the kind of behaviour we expect from those BESA type of wanks. No need for it and I think everyone agrees that it's not acceptable nor tolerated.blind_spot wrote:A's Modbury 0-0 Allstars Utd

In saying that, would have been nice if Allstars lost so we could get off the bottom of the table, but well done Allstars.
A's SV 0-1 Pete
B's SV 2-1 Pete
Well done to St Pete A's for a hard thought win. Refereeing was shocking for both teams, with a red shown each way. Still trying to work out what both were for. Not the prettiest match and a draw would have been a fair result, but credit to the Saints who held on for the win.
Great effort for the SV reserves to beat the lads who smashed them 6-1 earlier in the season. Missing 3 regulars to the A's it was a great effort by the whole team, old and new, to beat the Saints who obviously held the psychological advantage heading into the match. Again not a pretty game but Saints let the pressure get to them towards the end and tried to resort to whinging and complaining (and stupid, laughable insults) but in the end the SV lads finally showed some true heart to close the game out. If the Saints played there game for the whole match rather then try to resort to intimidation tactics, they may have grabbed a point. However the little boys tried to play grown ups against guys who eat their posh kind for breakfast, and in the end, came out with pie on their faces . Say what you will, but the truth hurts and I'm sure my comments will bring upon a flurry of lame comments and excuses, but SV too good on the day. Beaten by the bottom team has to hurt and I'm sure a lesson learnt for the Saints reserves. Can't beat a team at their own game.

Re: Saturday results
and why didn't you say that to his face? Surprise surprise blind spot comes on the forum and gives an embellished one sided version of events. Was it not you who came on to the pitch at the end of the reserves game dishing out abuse and taunting our players? You were simply asked if you were prepared to repeat it at the bar, rather than shouting it from a distance. You were never threatened. But no, you little soft cock, you crawl inside your shell, and go home go your keyboard for the response. All fucking talk. And stop using sportsmanship as an excuse. Your club has no idea what sportsmanship is. You win a game and refuse to shake hands, preferring to try and start trouble instead, with people like yourself not even involved in the game joining in. Like you just said yourself, you expect people to sit there and take it like nothing is happening? Pull your head in you are no fucking angel.blind_spot wrote:A's Modbury 0-0 Allstars Utd

i can prove blind spot is talking shit. I'm not an ok bloke. How can you trust anything he says?
Re: Saturday results
Mate I never questioned your team's sportsmanship after the game and the gesture of shaking hands after the match is something all teams should do out of respect for the hard battle just fought. I was questioning your teams tactics during the game, particularly in the last 20 minutes when you were chasing the game at 2-1 and started with the pushing and shoving and lame insults. I made no mention of any foul behaviour from your team after the match. It's no secret that we've had a terrible season thus far but we also have always shown our opponents a sign of respect with a handshake after the game, and that's after getting thumped most games. What happens on the pitch stays on the pitch and our club has always honoured that motto. My earlier comments were just my observations of the game so no need to come on here and continue your whinging whilst trying to twist my words. Sour grapes if you ask me. Tito, get him some tissue.Far King wrote:LOL that's a nice story. We had no problem with your players during the game at all, we all shook hands after the game. OK now I'm at a computer I will send a proper response to this.
That bloke never once threatened you, he asked if you were prepared to repeat what you had said previously and your bottle went and you declined. Then you come on here and start it, safe from the other side of your computer.
The abuse shouted at your club was a result of a number of your players refusing to shake hands and acting like pricks. I will stick up for blind_spot here, after we had out tussles in the game he at least shook my hand. As far as i was concerned the elbows and insults thrown got left exactly there.
BUT when others won't shake hands and want to continue the insults then it leads to bad blood and that will result in more words.
Oh and weirdest penalty I've ever taken!
