Not sure which game you were watching…your player did dribble around one defender and the a second defender collided into the back of him, ref called a penalty…with ours the ball was a low cross played from the right, our player was in front of the defender, STUCK HIS LEG OUT to divert the ball to goal, and the defender collided into the back him, so like I said consistency, and the fact the he didn’t allow us to make a substitution at the end of the game was a complete joke…it makes no difference how long is left …and our lineman is one of the most honest players in the league, he has no need to cheat, but if the ref thought he was cheating, why didnt he go over and have to chat to him, like any normal ref????? at the end of the day we took 7 out of 9 points against a definite “home advantage” to your guys, so will take that and move on

i was actually the player who win the penalty. i didn't get smacked in the back, i got pulled back. bruno is easily one of the fairest refs i have ever had and he has called a lot against us so i'm sure he would have called it against us if it was there to be called. if your linesman is 'one of the most honest players in the league', this league must be full of thugs and cheats.

One thing that pissed me off when we played Monarchs a few weeks ago was when the big guy in the middle was on the ground and clearly swatted the ball away with his hand. No card given. We asked Bruno after and he said 'it wouldn't have made a difference'.

I would beg to differ - it may not be much, but I thought that was a bloody awful decision. You can't go around only giving cards if it 'makes a difference'. This was in the first half, anything could have happened after that.

I don't like any referees however .

Hey Juventino if Bruno is not up to cheat for u then u better find another club ref cos he won't cheat for anyone period! He is human and might make a mistake like u and I do but never call him a cheat! If u watched ur c game before the monarchs game he should of sent off ur keeper for a last man challenge but chose not to! Did u know he sent off our keeper a week before so don't call him a cheat! He is doing ur club a favour so don't knock him! U c we rather pay Bruno to ref than pay a player unlike some alleged club in div 3 sat!

Interesting...you must have read something different to what I posted as I never called him a cheat. All I said was you can't go around deciding to only sanction fouls that are worth it. If a card is there, you give the card.

read what juventino wrote CaloTed u peanut he never called him a cheat. He is a good ref and gets along with every team that he refs for and against. What he is trying 2 say is that if a team is winning 10-0 they shouldnt b able to get away with obvious handballs,they should b punished accordingly.

As keeper for the b's I really had nothing to do.

in the A's however the defence lapsed twice and were punished. Sometimes the better team on the day doesn't win.. and that has been the story of our season.

Whether thats due to players attitude, confidence or something else I don't know.

We had a golden chance to go up 3-2 with 10 mins to go but the Monarchs keeper pulled off the save of the season to deny us so at that point we bolstered the defence and played posession to ensure we kept the point.

It's not cheating, just strategy....

If you were referring to our first team guy who ref'd, he's not the one others are referring to and it was his first crack at it.

With B's ref's your always gonna get contentious decsions, your 20-0 analysis is a bit much given the majority of your shots were 30 yards out and the 2 you did score were from a penalty and a close up from 6 yards....

Dunno must have missed that one, but the penalty you did get was for much less than the incident you just desribed.

Falcons BY FAR the best team we have played all year. I would be very surprised if they dont go up this year. The fact that they kept our striker (who had scored 11 goals in 4 games - 22 for the season)...shows how good they are. We were VERY lucky to get the 3 points today. Good lads, who copped it sweet...best of luck to Mags and the boys for the remainder of the season.

Yeah we have, but it has a lot to do with actually having 11 players to field.

I wasn't around for the first half of the season but I hear we were fielding some reserve games with 9 or 10 players only.

Last few weeks have shown we can hold our own in this div but we have a tough run home with all top 4 teams still to play again....
