And it has become very interesting at both ends of the table.

It seems like it is Unis title but Hawks, Vipers and Comets will be fighting each other for promotion.

Breakers look gone but always seem to go on a bit of a arun this time of year. USC, Budapest and Handhorf right in the mix of it.

Cougars and Titans should be safe but wouldn't want to get involved in the scrap.

B's: ACU Falcons 2 - 2 Monarchs
What happened there? I would have put money on falcons to do monarchs today.
2 defensive mistakes resulted in 2 Monarchs goals and we simply couldn't finish, simple as that.

Lucky one of our best players returns from suspension next week which is critical since we got top team Red Blue Eagles so should be a cracker.....

Didnt see that one coming - IMO Pumas have been getting some form together and were going to give it a real crack at the business end of the season.
Apparently FC Adelaide picked up some players just before the deadline?

Game of two halves, USC took a 2 nil lead into thehalf and it was well deserved.

We got a dubious penalty with about 5 to go. But we had a crossbar and the keeper had made two fantastic saves prior to this.
Only relaying what I was told. Lion should of been 4or5 up first half.

Was the game still 2-0 when you won/given the penalty with about 5 to go?

It was 2-1 when we got the penalty.

It was some solid goalkeeping that kept the Titans in the game first half.

You cannot be serious Azzurri80

B's- Villa dominated the majority of the game and had Iggies beat in every position on the park. Villa capitalised in the second half to go 2-0 up after two nice finishes but then the inevitable happened and after working so hard for the majority of the game Villa went to sleep and conceded 2 in the last 5 minutes of the game. Unfortunately Villa thought they had it won too early and credit to Iggies for their persistence and heart to fight back. Villa have much to learn from this game. Games go for 90+ minutes and it takes the same amount of heart to close out a game as it does to make a comeback.

How can you say Villa dominated the game. Your mob had 4 efforts at goal for 2 goals. In the first half we did everything but score and had a clear cut penalty denied by the home referee. Before you guys scored we had hit the post twice and missed a further 3 clear cut opportunites. We dipped badly after you scored your two quick goals but to their credit came back strongly in the last 10 minutes to get a deserved point. The ref had told us that the second half would be 50 minutes because he had made a mistake in ending the first half early. Then he finished the game off after 45 minutes :?: Had he played the 50 minutes I am sure we would have won it because we were all over you by that stage. All in all, I would have said a draw was a fair result but your commentary was totally one-eyed. Good luck for the rest of the season anyway.

Fair enough. The way I was told it sounded like the Penalty cost Lion the game... There's nothing like a game of SAASL Chinese Whispers!

That definitely wasn't a day that either defence painted themselves in glory!
