The Ingle Farm Juniors aren't actually associated with IFASC Rodent !!!

But I guess all things being equal most ppl down the club would prefer the IF lads win ??

The Ingle Farm Colts (U18's) have won the Cup at Hindmarsh the past 2 years I think however

the downs reserves knocking off gardens today has made for a massive game (for those who give a toss might i add) between farm and gardens b teams next week with a win to the farm putting them equal top with the bumble bees.can't wait for it!

Sunday Div 3

A's: Para Hills 2 - 3 South Coast United

B's: Para Hills 0 - 6 South Coast United

Good Result for the A's, Sth Coast fought hard after being 2-1 down. Some very interesting decisions from the ref, but overall, a good day for the boys and slowly bridging the gap to the mid table group.

South Coast B's hit 3 early goals and never looked back. Basically, it was the start of a good day for South Coast.

Very funny rumour... Was talking with Simmo after the cup game at Vista and he is already adding to his squad for next season. If he has picked up the 3 people he was talking about I doubt he would walk away from such a good squad.
Did see earl at the downs, what the

Simmo is more of a loss to the Vista under 15's, we have been absolutely blessed to have a great coach and person at our club for last couple of years. Thanks Simmo

Due to the huge amount of phone calls, SMS and emails that Simo and I have gotten since last night I thought I should respond.

No Simo hasn't agreed to join the Downs. Have they and other clubs approached him? Probably. Lets be honest, if you were a smart club, you would approach him. Over the last 5 years, no club except for Adelaide Villa would have a better win/loss record. He is well respected, well liked and knows quite a few players. He is always been sounded out by Federation Clubs and other SAASL Clubs for the last 5 years.

He and I have briefly spoken about next year but we will do what we always do, wait till the end of the season and they decide where we go. The club has areas it needs to improve in and we need to be able to offer Paul the things he wants/needs. We also need to think about the fact that one day Simo won't be our coach and when is that time is, both he and the club will part ways. Knowing Paul, he's probably waiting for the England or Arsenal job to be come available. The one thing I would say about Simo is that he is very loyal and does far more behind the scenes than any other coach would. We have a great working relationship and whilst some players and myself don't always agree on everything, we allow each other do to do what we are there to do. Simo is a good friend of mine and I trust him not to have made any decisions until a time comes when we are able to put forward our case for next year. I should have the $20K finance ready by then for his wage which should allow the other $80K for player payments  We will of course do everything we can to keep him and then he is free to make his own decision. Next year would be his 10th year of coaching the club, he's on the committee and his whole family is involved. He has many very good friends at the Farm and that is more important to him than any money that any other club can throw at him. He's proven that too us many times over the years.

Personally, I think he may consider other offers but in the end will stay for at least one more year. The club's moving in the right direction and we still feel we are on the cusp of many great things both on and off the park. Simo's had a big part to play in that and he'd hate to miss the fruits of all the hard work.

As for Robbo, when will you stop believing everything thats on the net.

Adelaide Blue Eagles 6 v 0 Asia Utd

Have to make a special mention for the A's game, there was a guest appearance for Asia with that old dude from Leathal Weapon 4 (the old uncle) playing up front all on his own while the other 10 Asia players stayed behind the ball. Good Work old fella!

i woulda thought the bigger news on the day would've been the Biggest kept secret in amateur league history.how simmo tactically kept his new striker hidden in the reserves for 8 years until he was just right and brought him out for the huge clash against west beach.personally i think the player in question has already paid for himself.

So does that mean you finally accept that you didn't get a touch on the ball that won us Div 3?

We did walk off, at the end of the game! No-one ever suggested walking off during the game we never have and never would even during the Maco's B debacle we played till the end

Only person who walked off, was the Referee in the B's  Having said that, all 3 B's referees were good, it's a shame they didn't referee the A's. I think the old bloke was on a bookings bonus!!!!

Our supporter didn't need to walk far, as the referee couldn't see any more than 2 yards!!!

:) He ended up coming over and standing next to our supporters anyway... still not sure what the ref was on about making him leave.
