dont saasl rules allow you to play with driver's licences if the cards are not available?

A C class licence only allows you to play for the C's.

Of course it's harsh, game should probably have gone ahead (wether it was with B's players or someone driving back to get them). My comment was more referring to our good friend the TTG coach, and the fact he thinks its his god given right to be playing higher than Div 3, and that rubbing off on his players.Left Right Out wrote:Pretty Harsh comment mate on a club that has been dealt a harsh hand.English wrote:Welcome to Div Three TTG, the sooner you realise your cabernet stinks like the rest of us, the sooner you might actually go anywhere with your million dollar facilities.
I think a total lack of common sense on behalf of the Referee and also the Refs Association and maybe a bit of lack of balls from the SAASL committee.
TTG rocked up played Ressies
Match card (and Reg numbers) all filled out correctly (For senior game)
Ref asks for cards - TTG left them at home (45 - 50 minutes away)
FROM here the ref wanted to go
TTG offered
for someone to drive back and get them and try and get back before the end of the game
To show drivers licence (With Photos) and are more of a legal document than a SAASL pass.
I also believe that there were several conversations with SAASL committee and at the time they have apparently said, JUST TELL THE REF TO PLAY THE GAME.
I think its very harsh and also shows a lack of common sense.
