I disagree. I'd go so far as saying that most people would like to keep SAASL away from the mismanagement that is FFSA.
If it ain't broke don't fix it.

The FFSA is being run extremely well at the moment, thank you very much.

I would say that this other illigitemate competition you refer to does not have time on its side. We would see most teams applying to join the FFSA in the not to distant future, at which time we will choose who should be priviliged to play with us and who should not!

Is the rumour true that you want to change the game duration from 2 halves to 9 innings, because you are more comfortable with that format ?

Good to see you back on the forum mate and telling it how it is.

Seriously why would the FFSA even consider entertaining these retired hacks and has-beens?

Send the breakaway group wannabes over to the SAASL and sit back and watch the fun.
Now, if you're lucky, you could hack through your ankle in five minutes.

Nothing like self praise me Mr C. but ask most other people involved how it's running and they're not quite so sure as you. Then again you probably think that Baseball in SA was well run too.........lol.

You'll pick and choose who joins - what a laugh. If amalgamation ever happens in this state it will more than likely be because Soccer has a strong leader with vision, exceptional leadership skills and an inclusive style of management, so I'm guessing it probably won't be you doing much picking and choosing. :clown: :clown:

Hahahahahahaha be careful what you wish for, it seems that the ffsa does not have time on its side, consider it a privlidge that half of the current clubs do not leave the association and form another

There was already a break away of clubs from the FFSA this year who went to the SAASL & wanted them to administar a New League for them, but the SAASL said NO!
Because they want to mend the bridges not rip them down & didnt want to internsify the bad blood between both Associations...

Mr Nurgget, there was a break away which did not last very long, once they discovered the illegitimate league was not to the level they expected. The grass is always looks greener on the other side, once they realised the youth pathways and level and quantity of refereeing was not to the FFSA standard, they returned quickly.

As for the bridge, FFSA have had that bridge built for more than 2 years now, and they can cross it whenever they are ready, certainly many clubs have already dones so. It is only a matter of time.

Furthermore Mr Nugget, a club like yours would be challenged more so in the FFSA and your achievments would be recognised on the international arena, but you choose to play in a level well below you and to reap only hollow rewards. I am sure this is very satisfying.

       get yer hand off it. No one cares about FFSA anymore and more players are turning up at the SAASL and turning their backs on FFSA clubs.

They??? We are they!!!I'm thinking this is your problem Mr. C

I'm pretty sure your Clubs approached our Association, not the other way around.
And all the FFSA efforts to convert SAASL Clubs over to the FFSA have been in vain, wonder why...

I think this Carter character is onto something here. I think I'll call Bill at down at SAASL & tell him to write out a cheque quick smart. If we give FFSA all our money and promise to increase our fees, I'm pretty sure they'll let most of our clubs join them.
