Scholes is right on most points bout the players, they are too aware of the media hype about the premier league being "the best in the world", and their over inflated salaries, which makes them believe they are better than they play for england. But I repeat the point of the last few managers not having the minerals to set it straight and play what would work best for the team.
2008 and 2010, Spain leave Cesc on bench for majority of tournament, only injury to Torres 2010 opened a spot. Best team chemistry, results to show for it.

Carragher "retired" because he wasn't getting picked (Euro 2004). Surely you can't question his will to win and fighting spirit, just like the other 3. He had enough, not bundles, of quality, with bundles of heart, to have been a good player for England.

Lampard scores more goals cause he does less overall work on the pitch. you'd have to tackle to get a yellow/red card... hence lampards great discipline record (like lineker)
