Re: Results sun div 2 rnd 12 10/7/11
we have put the best 11 available on the park over the last few weeks. Sadly this side is minus 5 of the starters from earlier in the piece. Some not available due to injury, a couple of dummy spits, interstate work commitments and overseas trips. I think most clubs can cover a few outs and remain competitive as we have but would find it a tall order to be pushing for promotion or winning championships. Having said that our reserves have some decent players but when nobody trains and has any kind of cohesion with their team mates through repetition you cant expect much better than lower table positions when the best a coach can do is put names on the board on a sunday morning. If you cant have close to a full squad attend training at least on one of the training nights you will always struggle to win games even with decent players.dj_no.1 wrote:mustafa_sudzuka wrote:Macedonia - Brahma L

Same deal with beograd, you cant expect much when you have a different team each week and when 4 players turn up to training... funny thing is we have opened the scoring in almost every game this season and lost in the end because of no substitutes to cover injuries, unfit players etc.. last week we had probably our strongest side of the season and spent 80% in the oppositions half, the scoreline should of been double what it was.. If this side keeps on playing we will have no problem escaping relegation and having a good crack for promotion next season.handy_man wrote:we have put the best 11 available on the park over the last few weeks. It will be good for masos to win a game then you all might get over this thing called DUMMIE SPITS handy man, masos had people leave because certain supporters could not keep there mouth shut nearly fighting on side lines, getting a game called off absolute shamozel. a true club man left because of this, and yes I am no saint however there is a time when you have to realize when players are telling the supporters to shut the F(*&^ up and let us play the game 4 weeks in a row gets a bit too much to handle, at the end of the day i found it extremely hard to leave my mates and a damn good bunch of people but even I had enough people need to realize that people on the side line abusing refs only makes it harder for the people on the park actually doing something i:e playing the game.

Things at Macedonia, apart from our last 3 results, are the most harmonious they have been for many years. Led by the coaching staff and our captain Azza the boys are not giving up, still 6 games to go, promotion even thou looking doubtful 18 points still up for grabs. The supporters all 6 of them will still continue to attend games, they have been told to not have any PASSION, not use the F word and only say nice things to the refs, as they are human and have FEELINGS TOO.

your right mate you aint no saint and up until 4-5 weeks ago were playing reserves and standing with those supporters and dishing it out as good as anyone. Did you not here the Brahma supporters on the weekend. Plenty of abuse going on but its all part of the game. Ive been on the other side of the fence mate for a long time and know full well what its like on the pitch listening to the crowd but i never left the club because of it. those supporters are the lifeline of the club and will continue to spend their money and keep the club in the competition so from a clubs point of view who would you support? you left because YOU chose to and i wish you all the best and as or the club man you refer to you forget when we got relegated from div 2 but had a chance to stay up and he went walkabout with three games to go. Not sure if you were there then but its not the first time this scenario has come up. i could go on and on about the behaviours of both and the support that was provided by the club. I guess it was all good when the shoe was on the other foot. The only people hurt by these actions are your mates that have been abandoned with 8 games to go. The club will survive and continue to be competetive regardless. Best of luck ol boy.

That's nice instead of being Sarcastic you should pull ya head out ya back side and realize that the players make a club the supporters make the noise behind it it makes me laugh that a coach can quit and come back on numerous occasions when they have dummie spits yet nothing is ever said funny that!!! And when people leave and more will at season end these people still have the support of the club. As me leaving I left because I want to enjoy my football and as if I stayed I would not play at a level that would deem me to play first team as my heart would not be in it and I think that would be more of alet down to my mates than me leaving. You can't defend these people as people need to wake up as Handy Man said 4 weeks ago bla bla it was 5 I did not realize the affects it has on players so some people realize some don't being older I thought they would no better but the support u give is to the wrong people. Good luck to the lads hope yas get there

well apart from the last 3 weeks, azza hasnt been captain. it has been handed to him in this terrible crap situation and (from all accounts) has done an admiral job so far in the circumstances. its a shame that a club like macos have been tainted even more this year by a lack of disciplne on the supporters behalf. the skipper left, who knows why, the star recruit has apparently quit over facebook!!! and i heard another lad quit the day before the deadline. players dont train together, dont care, train with other clubs. i hope things turn around for the boys, played against them in yrs gone by and would be a shame to see them fall apart through this.

Let me clear a few things up for you. If you were referring to me as the 'coach that quit' then you have it wrong. In consultation with the club and assistant coach i 'stepped down' in the best interest of the club and continued on as the reserves coach which proved to be the right decision based on results. I did not leave the club half way through the season at any time to go and play/coach at another club. I dont question the support you and a few others have given the club in regards functions etc and certainly wouldnt leave because of players less than desirable performances and antics on the pitch. The main culprit you guys are basing your decisions on has contributed more to that club than all of you combined and is a life member of the club. He/they were involved long before any of you got there and will continue to be there long after you have all gone. What would you sugest is done? If we were a club with the supporter base of say the Downs and players complained about supporter behaviour and threatened to leave im sure you would have seen the door no questions asked. Both the club and i personally have had discussions with him about language issues but remember that white line fever occurs on both sides of the field. No one is going to change your reactions to certain events on the field are they? As ive said before not one player refused his beer after EVERY home game! The whole situation was not handled well as far as communication is concerned IMO. I congratulate those that remain and wish them well if they choose to leave at seasons end.Sweeper-03 wrote:club man wrote:Things at Macedonia, apart from our last 3 results, are the most harmonious they have been for many years. 03 You have left the club, to bag the club "ME" on a public forum is wrong. You made your decissision why do you need to publish your feelings? Please there is no need for you to have any disscussion/argument with any member of Macedonia on this forum. If you wish to help the club in any way, please come down and give me your suggestions, like all of the past players of Macedonia you are always welcome.
