Soccer-Mad you are so right, honestly, you've got us. What we did is we paid the ref triple to send off 2 pontians players so we can scrape through with a 2-2 draw with virtually the last kick of the game!

There we go, we fixed the match. The ref got a bag of chicken wings as well for sending off a third player after the game.

seriously...
The two send offs in the game yesterday where technically correct. A player said F*#K Off to a ref and waive his arm with his thumb raised. He wasnt facing the ref when he did that! Ok got sent off veryearly in the the first half, 5 min later the Florina midfielder Number 14 with a beard i think said the same thing at a bad decision and didnt even get a word said to him, maybe the ref has selective hearing? As for the studs up tackle yep thats was so dangerous that the player got up before the red card was even issued! He didnt receive any treatment at all!!! As for the third player getting sent off didnt see that so wont comment. I thought the Florina player was lucky to only receive a yellow when he bought down the Pontian striker on the edge of the box. He looked like he was the last man. So yeah maybe the red cards were there but what killed the game, if 9 Vs 11 doesnt already, was the constant fouls given against the Pontian forward. He had over 12 fouls against him, not one yellow though and it was for use of body, pulling shirts etc. Pontian scored both their goals when they had ten men. With one sent off they still looked like winners but with 2 off it just seemed a matter of time for Florina to score. I thought Florina should of made changes earlier than they did. Anyway both teams has chances to win it in the end a for a team with 9 men that gives them a little credit in my book.

This ref I have seen before and after speaking to a few Florina lads they had him a few weeks back as he was just as bad. 3 straight reds a 2 yellows for one team and just one yellow for the other doesnt add up. It certainly wasnt a dirty game or there wasnt many massive tackles. but one mustask why bother to train and get sacrifice a weekend to get the game ruined by a ref like that.

Bold point 1) You said it yourself, don't complain

Bold point 2) Agree totally - the 9 players left on the park for Pontians did an amazing job

Bold point 3) When you say speaking, do you mean yelling? Im curious, because i remember a few comments from you during and after the game which really didn't resemble speaking.

Mate you can't go 2 feet studs up regardless, what did you prefer? The player to roll around and scream for u as well? The player that got sent off was already on a yellow, and to go in for a tackle like that is stupid.

If you fixed the game you would of have won? I dont believe any game at this level is fixed, what for the league winners dont win millions, there isnt betting on the games! The ref was woeful yes but the game def not fixed. One team got decisions their way but they couldnt fully capitalize.

Have to make comment about the ref in the B's game from Vale, did a magnificent job, was very fair, was up with the game, let it flow where he could and played advantage well.

Probably the best B ref we have had all season, well done, was let down a couple if times by his linesman though, definately not his fault !!
The ref was the number 8 in the C's game. Agreed with above comments although it seemed he got in the middle of the play on more than one instance. Nevertheless it was very unbiased and sensible refereeing.

As Para Hills Lions 2:0 Port Pirie

Bs Para Hills Lions 2:0 Port Pirie

Thoroughly deserved win in both games, no idea what that ref was thinking, lost complete control of the game, then start waving red cards like it was the fkin Mardi Gra. Three for lions and one for Port Pirie.

Also to the number 11 who spat on the Lions player, you're a hero mate, shame you're shooting aim isn't as good as your spitting aim.

this was the same ref that got a similar response from the Downs boys after last week as well... He is a top bloke. Im sure he'll be chuffed to be receiving compliments from opposition clubs week in week out...

I don't play Bs but i saw Adam's performance when we played them and i also think he's a very good ref. Our player broke his leg during that game, he handled the situation very well.

The young lad doing the Cs at Gardens is also top shelf.

Was at the Farm V's Vale game on Sunday the young lad from the Vale who refereed the B'S did a great job and in my opinion did a better job than the official Ref in A's

The referee at the Fulham/Grove game had a poor performance as well. It doesn't sound nice to bag referee's but in all seriousness something needs to be done. They kill the game when a few simple words to players will do to get on with it and settle down rather than brandishing red cards all over the place.

In the refs defence the 2 players sent off deserved their reds as they were both carrying on like pork chops. then the 3rd send off was stupid as well, deliberate hand ball for a penalty and then abusing the referee

One thing I don't understand though, is the referee making the home team linesman do their own forwards. It just opens it up for a club linesman to either cheat or be put in the position of being accused of cheating by opposition supporters. Lucky for us yeaterday, the bloke who did the line for Fulham was excellent. he was also a very good referee for the C and B grade games.
We Think s we are being a little one sided here. The ref was a joke all game and you tell me when you get a red card for trivial stuff for using the chest NOT THE HAND even your guys said it.you wouldnt act like a pork chop. Get a life. when you get a red ok but when its not ? watch the whole game ,less liquid intake maybe.
Your supposed to be good and fair a s a ref and thanks for those comments.

+1 Vale's ressies ref.

Earlier in the year during our C's game at the Vale , which the young fella played in, a foul was committed a metre inside the box which to all and sundry was a clear pen. The "house" ref who was 30 metres away was waving away the pen claims and insisting on a free kick outside the box, lol. To my amazement the young fella had already picked up the ball and put it on the spot! WTF??!!?? i thought.... this has to be the highest act of sportsmanship i've seen in all my years of playing. Needless to say the ref silently went with it....

Continue doing what you're doing young man, it's certainly noticed and appreciated :)

This happened last year in the Florina Cs v Vikings Cs game also - Florina player/coach called the penalty despite linesman saying it was outisde.

Yes the team manager forgot the player cards, but filled out all the appropriate players pass numbers on the team sheet. When the referee was told that we would go back to get them and hand them to him at half time or a bit later, he still refused to play the game. Oh well wait and see what happens now ???
Just spoke to the Amateur League about this game, and apparently it was discussed with the committee and the outcome was to ask South Coast if they wanted to make a time and day to replay the game, but South Coast declined to replay and took the 3 points. South Coast have every right to do what they have decided, entirely up to them...... but I do remember a comment before on here about replaying a game because it shows true character.........(bigdawg) all the best to South Coast for the remainder of the season.

Pretty Harsh comment mate on a club that has been dealt a harsh hand.

I think a total lack of common sense on behalf of the Referee and also the Refs Association and maybe a bit of lack of balls from the SAASL committee.

TTG rocked up played Ressies
Match card (and Reg numbers) all filled out correctly (For senior game)
Ref asks for cards - TTG left them at home (45 - 50 minutes away)

FROM here the ref wanted to go

TTG offered
for someone to drive back and get them and try and get back before the end of the game
To show drivers licence (With Photos) and are more of a legal document than a SAASL pass.

I also believe that there were several conversations with SAASL committee and at the time they have apparently said, JUST TELL THE REF TO PLAY THE GAME.

I think its very harsh and also shows a lack of common sense.
