All the correct paper work is done,do you think we wld play an illegal player and run the risk of loosing points???
freddy's team is in the off season and he doesnt go back till sept I think it is so in the off season he is playing,not unlike a guest player from the old nsl days used to play in the feds!!!

According to the boys down at Grange;

You're unable to field a player in the amateur competition who is on a professional contract, even if it's a loan.

Only way around it is if the pro contract is terminated, Freddy signs an amateur registration (whilst not appearing in a Professional match for a certain period of time prior to his first game at the Gardens).

However I'm sure some rules were bent here and there, last season I went through the same process and that was the explanation I was given.

Not for one second insinuating that Gardens are playing him unregistered.

SAASL is a 'breakaway' league (not FIFA recognised) so shouldn't matter.
