Interesting City vs Metro div 1 result...what was the game like?

Div 1 City v Metro - City scored first within 15-20 mins and dominated through the midfield. City had a great goal finished off from a strong passage of play. Metro scored from a penalty that was first deflected by the GK but couldn't get onto the ball the second time and the striker followed it up. Both teams had their chances from there and pretty intense game. Good game to watch and play.

I know ppl dont care about res but WTF happened here?
last time AC lost 2-1 (IIRC) and that was with AC losing their goalie.
my daughter plays there but wasn't playing this week as she was interstate, (didn't realise losing a defender can make that much difference )

But I am curious...

City GK and many of the players are away on holidays or injured. Can't comment on the game itself because I was playing at the same time but it didn't look pretty.

They didn't appear to have that many unusual faces! So I wouldn't revert to the players being away excuse! Just a rough day out and our keeper played a great game!
