Your a f disgrace. To all at AV tell this clown to pull his head in.
From an outsiders perspective, why even get next to the ref at half time?? The game is 45 mins in, yes, you are 1 down. Big deal. Your coach should have pulled you in at half time ( instead of negotiating with the ref to call the game off) and revved you up. And for a player to go in with a wreckless challenge 2 seconds into the 2nd half indicates it was purely tactical. Your opposition wanted to go toe to toe with you, just play!! It is amatuers FFS!! You guys would have scored an equaliser and it would have been game on! I am sure you guys, including your self have played in bad, muddy, dangerous conditions.... but its a winter sport. We as amatuers should not expect to play on a golf course every week. As for Stirling, I think they were dealt a very bad decision by the ref. Even if BOSA did plead for the game to be called off, it comes down to the decision the ref makes. I have been and still am a player, and playing in those tough conditions is the best!!
Were Stirling going on to win the game 5-0? I think ladder postion and recent results suggest that Stirling would be getting ahead of themselves by thinking they were dealt with harshly.. BOSA have beaten everyone in the past month who the Almighty Villa havent, including Sturt, Salisbury Villa 6-1 and old iggies.. A Bosa person voiced theyre concern for both sides after mistimed tackles from both sides after only 15 mins.. The score was still 0-0 and the game was even.. Not a single player called for this result.. I hardly think Stirling were dealt with harshly.. As a neutral viewer i think the refs call was right, and the only two clubs crying are Stirling and Villa , Stirling because they cant win anywhere else and Villa because their bubble has burst and they want Bosa to lose.. Yes it is amateurs and we all have jobs to do, is it really worth breaking a leg over? If there is any team that should be displeased with the result it is Bosa... Results went their way and a win wouldve seen them within a point of the Almighty.. Lets face it, Stirling arent going to with the championship are they...

I mis read. I thought Stirling were up 1-0 from a penalty kick. Not that it matters. Be honest, have you played games in those of the same condition as the game in Stirling on Saturday??? Forget about the old saying "we have to go to work on Monday", we all know that (unless you play for one of those Elizabeth sides :) ) because you can quite easily have you leg broken or snap an ACL on Hindmarsh Stadium in perfect conditions. Dont understand why a decision was made with out consulting Stirling...

The score was 0-0 at the time of a Bosa member voicing his concern.. Therefore there was no reason for anyone to say anything other than the intention of player safety.. I really dont see the big deal..

Vatrini, While i 99% agree with your post I can understand why Stirling would be a bit peeved!Who knows what would of happened in the 2nd half 3 points against Bosa and there equal with them and only 4 points behind Villa and 3 points behind Sturt who both seem to be strugling a bit of late and play both at home in coming weeks. So they can definatly still win it. But at the end of the day this is amateurs and the players best interest has to come first.. We all need to be able to go to work on Monday.

Cool. If you refer to the original result post, Stirling were 1-0 up. Makes a difference in the scheme of things. On the other hand if it were 0-0, no team is really benefitting from the abandonment. BOSA have to travel back to Stirling again.
A's called off at the start of the 2nd half with stirling up 1-0 with a penalty

If you don't know what BOSA stands for, you've not got no right commenting on Sat football.

And whinging is what these forums is all about. It's theraputic.

Personally i think it's pretty poor form for a team to get the game called off because they are behind. My oppinion may not mean much since i wasn't there... but i've found a link with video to the game and the ball seemed to roll ok.

Good work on finding that crab.. Proves my point that there was nothing wrong with the pitch and safety of players. There is never going to be safety to players in any conditions if you have players diving in like that last tackle.

Anyway there has been enough sh-it said about this on here and hopefully now everyone can make their own decision by watching that.!!!!!

After watching that footage, I agree with Mehorf... BOSA bunch of soft c**ks. Were being dominated by a better side, got too hard for them. Sends no 9 in an for a idiotic tackle, game called off... well executed plan. Pitches around Adelaide worse than that one on Saturday. Ref made a bad call. PS.... This is what Vatreni wrote "The score was still 0-0 and the game was even.." So, were you there, neutral observer?? You weren't because footage shows that Stirling did score and were leading 1-0 at half time... so hero.... you are full of sh*t. Good luck calling Mehorf a knob to his face. He might be 4 foot nothing but youll be about 300mm high when he's finished with you, flat on your fat coulo!

Geez I love footage... sorts out the straight shooters from the bllsht artists.

Great footage - according to the vid something dodgy happened...

Stirling nearly 2-0 up at half time, body language wasn't good from Bosa... One random tackle, which was bad but no contact and ref turns round bottles it instead of giving a card. Crazy stuff, harsh on Stirling i must say, could of made the league very interesting...

When is the replay, would love to come and watch that game...

Budapest V Hahndorf at Hahndorf (so not too far from the Stirling game) was played in pretty poor conditions and was a bit of a mud fest but no one from either side considered calling the game off .. you just deal with the conditions .. we had one guy dislocate his shoulder but even he didnt come off straight away.. !!!

faaark me, BOSA complaining about the state of the pitch???
many games have been played at their home pitch in far worse conditions, but not one complaint about it then, Oh maybe cos bosa were winning their games at home.

But, end of the day, if the REF deemed it unplayable, so be it.
BOSA did a great job in getting in the ear of the ref, hopefully it comes back and bites them in the .................... aassssssss!
Safety of all players is the MOST IMPORTANT thing, and if the ref called it that way.........

as for Tooooosovac, great trolling u numpty!
