Your a f disgrace. To all at AV tell this clown to pull his head in.
From an outsiders perspective, why even get next to the ref at half time?? The game is 45 mins in, yes, you are 1 down. Big deal. Your coach should have pulled you in at half time ( instead of negotiating with the ref to call the game off) and revved you up. And for a player to go in with a wreckless challenge 2 seconds into the 2nd half indicates it was purely tactical. Your opposition wanted to go toe to toe with you, just play!! It is amatuers FFS!! You guys would have scored an equaliser and it would have been game on! I am sure you guys, including your self have played in bad, muddy, dangerous conditions.... but its a winter sport. We as amatuers should not expect to play on a golf course every week. As for Stirling, I think they were dealt a very bad decision by the ref. Even if BOSA did plead for the game to be called off, it comes down to the decision the ref makes. I have been and still am a player, and playing in those tough conditions is the best!!
Were Stirling going on to win the game 5-0? I think ladder postion and recent results suggest that Stirling would be getting ahead of themselves by thinking they were dealt with harshly.. BOSA have beaten everyone in the past month who the Almighty Villa havent, including Sturt, Salisbury Villa 6-1 and old iggies.. A Bosa person voiced theyre concern for both sides after mistimed tackles from both sides after only 15 mins.. The score was still 0-0 and the game was even.. Not a single player called for this result.. I hardly think Stirling were dealt with harshly.. As a neutral viewer i think the refs call was right, and the only two clubs crying are Stirling and Villa , Stirling because they cant win anywhere else and Villa because their bubble has burst and they want Bosa to lose.. Yes it is amateurs and we all have jobs to do, is it really worth breaking a leg over? If there is any team that should be displeased with the result it is Bosa... Results went their way and a win wouldve seen them within a point of the Almighty.. Lets face it, Stirling arent going to with the championship are they...
I mis read. I thought Stirling were up 1-0 from a penalty kick. Not that it matters. Be honest, have you played games in those of the same condition as the game in Stirling on Saturday??? Forget about the old saying "we have to go to work on Monday", we all know that (unless you play for one of those Elizabeth sides
) because you can quite easily have you leg broken or snap an ACL on Hindmarsh Stadium in perfect conditions. Dont understand why a decision was made with out consulting Stirling...
