Round 3 Results
INGLE FARM 4-1 ELIZ DOWNS
PARAFIELD GDNS 2-2 MOD VISTA
ATHELSTONE 2-1 PARA HILLS WEST
PARA HILLS EAST 1-4 TEA TREE GULLY
ELIZ VALE 4-2 MOD JETS

Round 4 - Sun 8/5/11
DOWNS vs PARA HILLS EAST - Cant see downs winning this one especially when you try & score with a toey but should be a close one
MOD VISTA vs ATHELSTONE - An ordinary Vista pinched a draw last week hopefully Athelstone give them a flogging
TEA TREE GULLY vs PARAFIELD GDNS - Gardens undermanned with 9 players last week should have full squad this week Gully will be a tough game
MOD JETS OB vs INGLE FARM - Farm easily over Downs last week for their first win but a bigger scalp to deal with this week with Jets
PARA HILLS WEST vs ELIZ VALE - Westies looked alright at start but Vale will be too strong

Well that didnt happen as we had 7 to start with.... how about this week Lefty can we rely on there being enough this time..?? finding it hard to Play "Left Back Left Mid & Left Wing" especially when your the left footer of the family !!

Results Round 4
DOWNS 2-7 PARA HILLS EAST
MOD VISTA 0-4 ATHELSTONE
TEA TREE GULLY 10-3 PARAFIELD GDNS
MOD JETS OB 1-8 INGLE FARM
PARA HILLS WEST 1-1 ELIZ VALE

Round 5 - Sun 15/05/2011
INGLE FARM vs MOD JETS AFC - Farm big winners last week Jets OB obviously struggling Farm to make it 3 wins in a row
PARA HILLS EAST vs MOD JETS O/B - Easties to win easy could be another big score
ELIZ VALE vs MOD VISTA - Vale to bounce back with an easy win at home after their draw with Westies
PARAFIELD GDNS vs ATHELSTONE - Gardens not playing bad just not getting enough players on the park with a saturday night drinking ban imposed should have a full team & first win hopefully to stay in touch
TEA TREE GULLY vs ELIZ DOWNS - Gully with a cast of thousands in their squad & taking things very seriously will win comfortably in fact they'd probably beat their Div3 team

Just a reminder to all Div 10 teams that Gardens home games will all be 12pm kick offs.

Surely you found a new keeper last sunday..The double hammy pulling player turned keeper pulled off some top drawer saves last game.

I have seen plenty of pulled hammys in my time but seeing somebody do both at the same time was a first for me last week.
Even more impressive were the saves he pulled off after swapping into goals. Stammy better watch in the first team out because if he could do that with no hammys, who knows what he could do with 2 good ones!

Downs 5-1 Mod Jets OB
PH East 2-0 PH West
Farm 5-3 Mod Vista
Parafield 0-2 Vale
TT Gully 0-0 Mod Jets AFC

Round 7 - Sun 5/6
Mod Jets AFC vs Downs - Downs to win & starting to get results after Gardens spurring them on & with the quick fella up front causing trouble for old & slow defenders
Athelstone vs Farm - Farm will continue their winning ways Townsend back making a difference
Mod Vista vs PH East - Easties to win an easy one in the local derby
PH West vs TT Gully - Should be a close game Gully to win & keep in touch with Vale & Easties
Mod Jets OB vs Parafield - After an embarassing effort last week forfeiting against Vale with Rodent unable to get things together we should see an improvement this week result will depend on who turns up

Results Round 9
Farm 0-5 Vale
PH East 2-0 Athelstone
Downs 1-4 PH West
TT Gully 2-1 Mod Vista
Mod Jets O 0-0 Mod Jets AFC

Round 10 Sun 19/6
Mod Jets AFC vs Parafield - With a week off & the return of the Gweet it could inspire the lads to our first win if we can get him off the BBQ (Jets 12pm KO if we can pls as we have players that have kids playing in morning)
PH West vs Mod Jets OB - Westies to win at home after a comfortable win over Downs last week
Mod Vista vs Downs - Hoping for a Downs win just in case we lose dont want to be bottom
Athelstone vs TT Gully - Gully should win this one but going for a draw dont think it will be an easy game
Vale vs PH East - Should be a cracker of a game Easties will be keen to take the points but tipping a Vale home win to be a point away from top & game in hand

Totally agree - a great advert for o/35s. Good skills, frantic pace & physicallity, all in good competative spirit - all players happy to shake hands after. However a game of that pace and ferocity needed a (fit) official ref - the guy tried but gave (or missed) too many decisions from too far away. Shame to decide a nine goal thriller with a late dodgy penalty. I suspect a few sore bodies from both sides will need the full week to recover.

Jay, you must have done something right with Pilots whilst at IF.

I haven't seen (or heard) him chuck during warm up, half-time, during or after the game since he's been back.

Bravo to you.

Blame the Rodent for that attempted 3 Nanna back passes that were cut off by vinnie before the ball got anywhere near the keeper. Broke the Golden Rule for defenders dont play soccer in the box.

Got that all out of him during preseason although it felt like an easier preseason this year. Probably because I wasn't doing any of it :D
