Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign
Conte was at Wembley to have a look at Inler and Ziegler, probably to see Lichsteiner too. On the Inler deal, I read that things should wrap up soon, if all goes to plan.
Andreas Beck said he wants a Juve move while Palermo will probably not sell Cassani.

Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign
Opinions on him? Didn't see many Napoli games this year tbh but if he was a regular contributor in their starting line up then I can't see why he won't be a useful player for us.Juventino wrote:Pazienza to Juventus on a Bosman is now official. 3 year contract.
That leaves us with Pirlo, Marchisio, Melo, Sissoko, Pazienza, Giandonato in the CM's, with Sissoko the most likely to be moved on.
Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign
Cheaper alternative to Sissoko is how I see it. And one who can pass a ball. Just waiting for to see what sort of offer Momo gets because there has not been a hell of a lot of news surrounding his potential departure.
Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign
Pazienza is ok. Hard working, no frills, handy squad player.
I cant see him playing a large role in Juve's season.
Pirlo, Marchisio & Melo should be the prefered options, you would think.

Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign
Nice to get that sorted. No payment is overly high too. The word is, Motta will now be sold straight-away, which will be fantastic, as he is rubbish.Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces the exercise of the rights of option for the definitive acquisitions of the following players:
Alessandro Matri from Cagliari Calcio S.p.A. for € 15.5 million, payable in three years. The player has signed a 4-year contract;
Fabio Quagliarella from S.S.C. Napoli S.p.A. for € 10.5 million, payable in three years. The player has signed a 3-year contract;
Simone Pepe from Udinese Calcio S.p.A. for € 7.5 million, payable in three years. The player has signed a 4-year contract;
Marco Motta from Udinese Calcio S.p.A. for € 3.75 million, payable in three years. The player has signed a 4-year contract.

Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign
I've had enough of the Gio saga tbh. Honestly, if he can't realise that there is a new coach in charge who wants him as part of his plans, and constantly refers back to what has happened in the past, then he obviously doesn't wanna be at Juve. Bit of a sook IMO. He's not the only player who has been benched by coaches before. Look at Del Piero under Capello. Let Gio play to save Parma from relegation for the rest of his life if that's what he wants.makaveli wrote:He needs to go he is absulute cabernet!! In regards to the four other signings, happy with Matri, Quags, and Pepe. And yes, Motta must be sold on straight away, no excuses!
Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign
Giovinco could easily come back to Juve next season, just depends on what the clubs work out, or failing that, who bids more at the blind auction.

Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign
Yes but if he has the same attitute towards Juve which he has now then there's no point even bidding for him. Don't want players who don't wanna play for the shirt.Juventino wrote:Giovinco could easily come back to Juve next season, just depends on what the clubs work out, or failing that, who bids more at the blind auction.
Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign
Unfortunately players that play for the shirt is a rare commodity these days.

Are you surprised after the way Juve treated him?David Puddy wrote:I've had enough of the Gio saga tbh. Conte wants him because of what he achieved once he left for Parma.
Ferrara, Ranieri and Del Neri all gave him nothing more than a bit part to play in what was a struggling squad.
If you ask me, your lucky he to retain a 50% share.
A bit like Napoli and Santacroce.
Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign
Who is to say he was not a dick at training or whatever? We do not know the full story, but for Ranieri, Ferrara and Zaccheroni to not play him regularly says something. Maybe a club like Parma is his level? Maybe he could go back to Juve and become a great? Maybe he could go to another big team and become great? For now there is just a lot of complaining for one person.

He's a gun after all.
Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign
Stephan Lichsteiner had his medical yesterday, so expect the word later today that the move in official. Lazio wanted 12mil, we got it down to 9.5m.
Hopefully this solves the problems we've had at right back since, well, promotion. And we can now concentrate on selling deadwood, plus signing a striker and winger.
In other news,
- Torino want 20m for Angelo Ogbonna, who is good, but not that good. Conte is said to be a fan of his.
- Sorensen may be loaned out to gain experience, with Bologna a possible destination. Albin Ekdal may also go back to Bologna, he was co-owned with them, but would only go on loan this time.
- There are a few clubs who want to sign Manuel Giandonato on loan, Cesena and Chievo amongst them.

Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign
Really cut that Lietch is going Juve, but thats what you get when your president doesn't reward players who have given their all to sign over-the-hill German strikers. He will definitely kick on for Juve, 9.5mil will end up being a bargain.
LOL @ 100% purchase of Pepe though... wtf? Probably one of the worst attackers to wear gli Azzuri in a long long time. Should of just got Gio back or something.

Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign
Yes Pepe has an average skill set, but for those who watched Juve this year they would know that he was one of our most consistent players. Always gives 110%, can whip in a good cross and scored some vital goals. He'll bring some good energy off the bench, especially when running at tired defenders. Marco Motta on the other hand, is the one I am still questioning as to why we bought his full rights. He's not even good enough to be Licht's back-up.LFTWNG11 wrote:Really cut that Lietch is going Juve, but thats what you get when your president doesn't reward players who have given their all to sign over-the-hill German strikers. Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign
The thing about Pepe is that he is such an un-Juventus like player, if that makes any sense. There is nothing particularly special about him in any sense except that he runs a lot. I liken him to Dirk Kuyt, but shitter. I think the fact that was one of your most consistent and probably best performers demonstrate why Juve are where they are. He is not a long term option if Juve want to win stuff.David Puddy wrote:Yes Pepe has an average skill set, but for those who watched Juve this year they would know that he was one of our most consistent players. Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign
I'm hoping Pepe can do for Conte the sort of job Di Livio did for Lippi.
Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign
very happy with the signings so far, still some work to do but i am already looking forward to seeing how they go under conte
i think mobility is the key, it has been lacking for a long time unlike footballing pedigree, but look how far that has got us
i also think sissoko should only be a contingancy as he is useless when we have the ball, probly better off cashing him in

Pepe is garbage.
