Cougars from start to finish no sweat!!!!!! Credit to Hawks who fought all day to make it some type of contest but Cougars poise and experience on the ball left Hawks chasing shadows and ball watching most of the day.....besides a couple of half chances, no real threat over 2 games......so as my mate Charlie say's....they might have to start warming up at 9.30 next time........ so tell your coach.........he needs more than just us not worrying about a warm up for you blokes to be any chance. Thanks for the motivation buddy .

The Hawks C's have players that aren't good enough to make the A or B team and want to still have a kick on the weekend.

To pay out our warm ups? We warm up to minimise injury...is that ok with you?

Shouldn't you be more concerned with your A team (which the Hawks smashed 6 nil) and your B team (also thumped 3 nil) than trying to win a trophy by playing your best 11 in a C competition.

Other than that I enjoyed the game and as always enjoyed watching the Cougars carve up us Hawks but I wasnt suprised when we have teenagers in our team that weigh 50kgs playing against 40 year 90kg players.

As most of the spectators said after watching the C and B game...
The Hawks C team played the Cougars B team whilst the Hawks B team played the Cougars C team...and no comment about your A's.

But, all in all the game was played in good spirits and it was good to have a chat with some of your players after the game.

Cougars C are very impressive but please don't take the C grade so seriously...

hey guys why do u keep knocking the cougars C team ????we formed a new team and no more than 2 players have played together b4 and the youngest players are 37yrs old who don't wish to play A's (please best 11 is a joke)....... however everyone of our players will take each game as seriously as need be...
either way we're always going to be knocked whether we play with 90kg/50kg guys 40yr or 20 yr olds in A,B,or C's someone will always say some jealous crap about cougars and i think its very unfair on the guys who are 1st year players at our club......

Actually the Cougars c's is half the 2003 a team which won promotion to div 1!!! and since when does weight matter in soccer just look at two of the best ever maradona and messi probably weighed 90 kg together, by the way I believe it was the cougars c coach who had the crack about hawks warm up .....the truth is the guys fully understand the importance of training and would only not train because of work or family commitments, the lads are getting fitter and sharper as the season goes on.

Was a disgraceful display by our A's and B's... first to admit it. MA HAWKS far superior. But toss bag, this thread relates to DIV 7C, not Sat div 2. As far as that competition goes, the Cougars are performing well, and well- deservedly leading the competition. The Hawks were not even in the same league as our C team. Let our C team enjoy themselves.. and the spartan thing you raise you stupid imbecile, no reflection of them from your team A's/ B's or C's..... you are a disgrace to your club n8. Learn how to catch a ball you boutso.
