Beautiful weather made for a good turn out and great results for all of our three teams. Thanks to Sturt Marion for three hard games played in a good sporting manner.

Eagles got up 4-1. Missed pen too. Pumas good unit, were unlucky first half. But second half was all Eagles.

A's Allstars Utd 2-4 Salisbury Villa
B's Allstars Utd 0-3 Salisbury Villa

Games were played at Grange due to the Amateur League stuff up :( Ground was not bad though and in the A's it was a really good game. Villa went 3-0 up, some easy goals conceded on our part due to defensive mistakes. We finished strongly towards the end of the first half and got 2 back. Another defensive mistake from us and Villa went 4-2 up and that's how it finished.

In the B's the only notable fact is that we missed a penalty at 0-2.

Like i've said in past posts, Uni, half the team they have been from past years......Hawks much the better side after watching both of them in the last 3 weeks.

The Hawks i saw today would push most Div 1 sides Uni would come straight back down.

I think that puts Villa back on top..........havn't lost a game in the second half of the season for the last 2 years, will be hard to catch now!!! :D

One of the scrappiest games I have seen all year. sV should of had another 3-4 goals while AU unlucky not to equalise from their free kicks in the first half. SV definitely the better team on the day and deserved the win.

The game was played in good spirits except for the accidental punch to the mouth :?: by one of the AU players who received a straight red!

Div 4 Flinders Uni vs SPOC

Bs 2-4 Good comeback by our lads... 2-0 down with 20 mins to go.
As 1-3 Good to beat the top side. League is wide open half way through.

Must say tough pitch to play on at comets.. Doesn't suit our game at all Lion like to pass it around but was a small pitch and bumpy... We played ok just had no luck today... I caused a couple of errors in goals that was the difference... Must say had the header covered until it took a shocking bounce and bounced over me.... We look much better last 2 games!!!!!! But I did save a penalty so was happy with that.... Final word the ref was B.O.G!!!!!!

Our ground isn't the best but at the end of the day both teams have to manage with it. Good penalty save! Our striker is going to cop stick about that for a while haha good hard game today an re the ref he let most things flow an kept the game under control when ppl had words. Overal he was ok but a couple decisions fell in our favor. Good luck to USC they are playing much better this time round an cross fingers will take points from other teams.

Watched Bosa - Sturt today

1st half - all over Sturt, who made 2 subs in 20 minutes and never looked comfortable.

2nd half - Sturt had a penalty shout, which was 50 -50 and then went down the other end and got the 2nd... Sturt just played long ball looked really flat had some pace out wide but passing was never good enough to cause a danger - fair result...

3 horse race still though maybe just a bad week for Sturt not sure if they have hit the skids... but Bosa in the mix...

Understandable that they didn't want to play or that the ref didn't rock up?

If u meant understandable they uni didnt wanna play, we probably wouldn't have played either if the roles were reversed.

If u meant understandable that the ref didn't rock up, Hmmmm a phone call wouldn't go astray. I've played amateur league for 10 years and this has never happened. We've gone from having three officials to two and now this.

Went to see him in RAH, has a double fracrure and is going to have a plate put in tonight. No malice in the challenge just unfortunate. Thanks for your concern.

SAASL rules state the match must be postponed if no official ref turns up.
