When we played you guys 2 weeks back, I dont think I ever saw more players kit up for 1 team!! And thats how it should be in the C division... leave the seriousness to the younger guys... most of us have had our fun in the seniors over many years, all we want is a bit of a run with our mates, and a couple of coldies after the game
Bullsh1t 5 Cougars......You guys want to win like the rest of us....It is part of our make up...All for the beer after the game and such but don't feed me rubbish about it not being serious.
We have guys(like most clubs) that will never play A's or B's and consider C's and D's as their premiership.....Even as an old fart I play to win rather than for fun.
ok, we want to win, no one goes out there to lose.... but I have never enjoyed my soccer as much as what I am now. Love playing with the old fella's, no fighting, no rubbishing, every one just enjoying themselves. But yes, we go out there to win, just makes that beer after the game taste that little better.

Would have been perfect to match up all 3 sides on the same Saturday... who might you be refering to..... we are all hanging for this game... nothing better than knocking off a side sitting on top of the league ladder

Thanks for caring enough to know I was a keeper once. I haven't played there full-time since I took over as playing coach of our F grade for Season 2010 (although I played maybe 3 games last season as backup)
From what we've been told by the league, Div 7 (c) is sub however if interchange is agreed prior to the match then the league won't give too much fuss about it. Just talk to the other team prior to clear it up, haven't had a team in Div 7(c) so no to it.

MA Hawks didn't agree to do it against us.
I think MA Hawks weren't clear with the league's stance from the way other teams described MA Hawk's reasoning. Clearly the league hasn't made it clear with its ruling. The league should have made the rules more black and white, none of this grey area as teams are confused with the rules.
Division 4 is looking like it could be a tight battle for promotion this year. Flinders is looking like they are genuine title contenders but may not be able to get promoted as they already have Div 3 side.
Strathalbyn and Torrens Valley both had unexpected losses at the weekend to Adelaide Uni Orange and Hazara respectively so they both have a battle ahead.
Hazara are good at home as they're pitch is enormous and they utilize the space well due to their pace and fitness. I don't think they would do so well on the smaller pitches though.
Hopefully St Peters can take some points from Flinders Uni this weekend. Strath will need to be on their toes against Hazara.

Definatly going to be an interesting second half to the season, with some important return fixtures that could sway the final balance.

I read your post with interest,could have an interesting scenario ? What if the Flinders div 3 side finish in the bottom two,will they remain in div three and relegate the 3rd bottom side ? I dont think so, unless you have Flinders div 4 side finish in the top two,then whichever way you look at it,nothing changes. After last weeks results,makes for an interesting competition.

Yes unfortunatly our result last weekend means that things are closer than I would like at the turn around point.
I believe that the top 4 sides Flinders,Strath,Torrens Valley and Saints are all well matched, Torrens Valley and Strath get some help as sides tend to strugle when they have to play away there especialy on Strath's paddock. As for Hazara we havent had to play them away yet so can't speak for what they are like at home, we had no problems with them when we played them at our place earlier in the season, but did have a few more issues when we played away at Woodvile last season.
I look forward to the second half of the season and to some more tight games (mainly for everone else! ) and to watching events unfold.
