It is what it is vipers. U get a rep as a club and it sticks boys. Look forward to the return match.
I said I think......It was the one I agreed with from our side, he even put his hands up because he knew he was wrong
As to reps, well there was nothing dirty just hard and you are coming across (which does your club no favors) as abunch of softies that can't handle a bit of heat.. ...Because of your little whinge on here it smears your club._________________

assumption almost correct! They should of won, but looked very tired towards the end. SV had 2 chances and scored both times - the equalizer was a ripper! A great result for Salisbury, considering they were 2 goals down at half time and had 4 regulars out of the side!
summed up well HFC, AV did have alot of chances, but to SV credit, they weathered the pressure and scored 2 late goals, the second was outstanding by the left back, what a strike!!
return fixture looms as a great spectacle, hopefully played in the same spirit as round 9. and hopefully an AV win, this time!

Though we played incredibly poorly by our standards my hat goes off to the titans and I can see why they had only lost one game in 8 prior to playing us. Not once did they drop their heads or turn on each other during the game, such fantastic team spirit.
We are happy to be top at the halfway point of the season but will all be for nought if we aren't there at the end of the season.

No issues with how Cougars play - I have said on another occasion that you are not worse than any of the other teams.
But most would agree that throwing punches is not on.

I agree its not on, some times things get heated and people have brain explosions, it happens at all clubs, unfortunatly we dont live in a perfect world and we need to accept that from time to time these things will happen. But some of your members dont want to let it go and come on here and have a shot at the cougars at every opportunity they get. I have tried to calm the situation down in another thread only to be mocked by some of your members. I would hate for the return fixture to be ruined over the heated exchanges by both parties on this forum. I think its time we all let it go so that the next game can be enjoyed by everybody.
Heard from a valuable source FTP, from a guy we both know well and respect, that Vipers Captain (no5), the lad that was given a "micro- sleep" in our game was the same lad, on Saturday, that had a Comets lad in a head- lock(in play). And to add to his angelic actions, which he probably will be punished again by another side, took the advantage of Johhny Politis while he is on the ground right at the end of the Vipers v Comets game, stomped on his hand deliberately and split the webbing in it. The funny thing is, as soon as Vipers confront foul play, every wank*r from that club (in which there is many) is on this forum reporting about it before you get home on a Saturday afternoon, but when it is the other way around, the same wank*rs are all on here posting b**lshit to make themselves look like they are the innocent ones. At least at our club, we admit to our mistakes and acknowledge our wrong doings, but the Vipers are the biggest t**sers in our league, hands down, and I wish them the worst of luck for the rest of the season.

Care to comment LUCAS LEIVA - your reputation ON THE LINE.

Have you spoken to Johnny? I spoke to him in the change rooms after the game and he'll be the first one to tell you it was an accident.

Because he is a nice guy and he didnt want to start anything. I know first hand, he's angry, knows it wasnt an accident and if it happens again to him, will probably do the same thing our lad did when he was stomped on, BY THE SAME PLAYER.
Personally, I am enjoying this season immensly, the standard has certainly gone up a notch.
I am mates with the Vipers captain and have known him for over twenty years, so I would be very surprised to learn that he has intentionally stomped on an opposition player. He definitely can get fired up and wears his heart on his sleeve but he is definitely not malicious.
In regards to JP, I have played against only in the past couple of seasons but he seems like a genuine fellow who is a tough competitior. I am sure that if in fact what he has passed on is true (and I have no reason to doubt him) that he would be disappointed that it has come on the forum.
It shapes up as interesting second half of the year.

I tell you what, it was a see-sawing affair.
Uni is definitely the best side I have come up against. DB has definitely got you well drilled and organised.

First time poster: Most of the stuff on here that was aimed at the cougars was after a couple of our players where punched in that game. Other than that very little has been said, problem is that anyone that says something against the Cougars is automatically associated with our club then it escalates from there.
I can't say I or most of our guys on here have whinged about a hard game, yours included....
Please show me where you have been mocked.....I know you don't post much but a forum is about banter and argument....If you post your thoughts in a public domain you will get all sorts of responses which sometimes needs a thick skin, this you should pass on to a couple of your members
I have no ill feelings towards your club and no matter how wrong it was, to the two guys that couldn't control themselves in our game. I have been guilty of the same thing which was a brain explosion as well.
I do fish occasionally though and have no problem with catching and releasing the same fish ....Peace
Football the winner in this 9 goal special. Titans have a fantastic pitch to play on, wish ours was like that. I was very impressed with their fight when we went 3 goals up early on. They have some talented players and a team that can cerftainly push the other top 3 and hopefully pinch some points off them.
The Vipers captain, is well respected at the club and has many supporters including myself. As PPG has mentioned, he wears his heart on his sleeve and plays hard and gives 100% everytime he steps on the park for us. Played and proudly associated with him since he came to the club back in 2008, and I would never use the word "dirty" in the same sentence as his name. We would love to have 10 of him on the park if we could.
I saw the both games mentioned on this forum, that he has been targeted for, and what I saw was someone, going in hard and giving 100%, nothing more. It is unfortunate, that people come on here trying to taint him, maybe there sore losers, keyboard heroes or just fishing.
As for 5CoxThx, yes good luck to you and your club, and lets hope when KARMA pays you a visit, that isn't too harsh.
Sorry I won't take hard as an excuse. To grab someone who has their back to you around the neck in an arm lock an extend an flex to tighten the lock is not hard it is dirty. I was a few meters away looking directly at this so I know exactly what I saw.

Chips these guys only see what they want to see. If it does not fit there version of events it did not happen.

If you're not the Vipers captain, and you're not Danny, then you don't know if anything was flexed or shredded or decimated or denigrated.
I will say this - I've never seen a player put two hands to his face while rolling around in agony and get the magic spray to the neck. Thoroughly enjoyable theatre.
Meanwhile our resident jiujitsu expert claimed if it was an intended armlock then it was the most poorly executed one he's ever seen
You comets boys certainly have a flair for the dramatic when it comes to these 'incidents'.
When you played us earlier in the season you crowded the ref complaining that one of our players had broken one of your teammates legs in a fairly late & robust challenge (which our player was certainly booked for), funnily enough after the game he was walking around without even a limp (I am glad he wasn't seriously injured as no-one likes to see that happen in a park football game). The only player that did get sent off was your left back for continual foul and dirty play because he was getting played off the park by his man.
Vipers were certainly a very physical and robust side when we played them but I wouldn't say they were dirty and if the player that is at the centre of this witch hunt is the central midfielder with the curly hair he displayed no behaviour that could be even remotely dirty, sometimes clumsy and late but not dirty.

Haha u (insert insult). That player who made a recovery After the game according to u played his first game this week as a sub against vipers. Sauce on yr face or what.....
Yh I was the left back an gave a clumsy tackle away an got sent off. I will wear that. But that's another story.

Your captian is a decent player and im sure he does wear his heart on his sleeve and is well respected. I played against him, on that occassion i can easily say he was dirty. Its ok sometimes to admit wrong doings. COUGARS-VIPERS will be a good game.

WHY DID YOU PUT YOUR HANDS ON AN OPPOSITION PLAYER'S NECK AREA?

I wish that was me! I think maybe he and Danny were trying to start up the tsamiko
From all the comments I think most will agree that there is nothing wrong with tough soccer some of us just need
to toughen up when it comes to b1tching about it.
All clubs have their moments, it is how they respond to those moments that is important.
In saying that there is no excuse for incidents that deliberately try to injure an opposition...Doesn't matter which team they come from.
Accidents and brain explosions happen in soccer, it's the nature of the game and those that play it.
