Are you for real....It was a tight game where both sides played with a lot at stake....I think there was one yellow card.Chips wrote:Asvipers 0 comets 0

A's Iggies 0 - 3 Stirling
Stirling dominated the first half and went up 2 - 0 at the break. Should have been more after hitting the woodwork twice in a few minutes. Iggies came out better in the second and made it a contest until the points were wrapped up with a third 15 mins from time.
B's Iggies 0 - 2 Stirling
C's Iggies 1 - 3 Stirling (i think)
Div 7 Stirling 5 - 1 Comets (i think)
A good day all round for Stirling...

One that was deserved in my opinion....The rest were play on in a match of this nature.6 Million Dinar Man wrote:3 to Vipers, 2 to CometsFranco UnAmerican wrote:I think there was one yellow card.

You guys got nothing that you wouldn't top of div 2/ Div 1 and may I say gave nothing ....Maybe your A's need to take a leaf from the B's when it comes to tough soccer ....But I am sure your A's aren't whining like you
Re: Results 18th June
You said there was only one card before. U sure you actually saw the others?
It is what it is vipers. U get a rep as a club and it sticks boys. Look forward to the return match.

I said I think......It was the one I agreed with from our side, he even put his hands up because he knew he was wrongChips wrote:You said there was only one card before. U sure you actually saw the others?

As to reps, well there was nothing dirty just hard and you are coming across (which does your club no favors) as a bunch of softies that can't handle a bit of heat.. ...Because of your little whinge on here it smears your club.

I guess what I was trying to say is that there weren't any incidents worth a mention.Chips wrote:U want more? Didn't see the spitting, doubt it happened. Maybe you've mistaken a bit of rain that was spitting for a bit of someone's saliva? Maybe it was leftovers from last night? Who knows...
Saw the 'stage hook' and it was deserving of a yellow... only because it was his first offence for the day. The whole thing reminded me of the wog boy scenes where Theo throws himself under cars to collect compensation. I was about run out onto the field with a cervical collar (neck brace)... Needless to say, the player got up and played out the rest of the match... Apparently there is nothing wrong with a bit of acting if it will lead to getting the opposition player sent off.
On a side note, good to see you managed to keep your mouth shut on the field for most of the game. ;)
And for trying to stir the pot, no more free bbq for you next time you decide to stay back in our change rooms.

Re: Results 18th June
Chips, you forgot to mention that the player who was injured - who put both hands to his face as he writhed in agony even though there was no contact there - executed an attacking header probably 2 minutes later with his red-card worthy neck injury.
Amazing that you call the Vipers dirty. You still had players off the field threatening Vipers players. I guess that's ok because it's not part of the game.
I failed to see any malice in the game, maybe if I could hear the whistle over the whinging from your players then I would've seen this phantom dirtiness you speak of.
Anyway, I'm bored of this already.

Re: Results 18th June
A's: Murray Bridge 0-Gleeson 1
B's: Murray Bridge 1-Gleeson 3.
Top day taking full six points away from home. A's match was a high tempo game with both sides good on the ball but the pitch making it difficult to play the ball on the deck. A huge win from gleeson and now only one point behing MB.

Guys he is one voice and a poor one at that as a representative of his club
Majority of the Comets saw it as what it was....he was probably the guy straight from the fashion parade that didn't pull on a boot
The club shouldn't be tarred with the same brush as this whinger

Fine thanks....would have been better with a win in the A's but that's the way the game went
