A clear indication your knowledge on football is not up to scratch.

yeah, I'm surprised Parker hasn't played at a big club before, he's definately got the qualitymanU4life wrote:laugh all you want...parker has been a stud at west ham and unlike carrick who came from your lot would handle the transition to a "big" club.

so many scott parker haters and yid lovers.....tottenham are a average team with average players, the one thing they have in their favour is a above average manager.
id still rather parker, modric may be better suited in the champions league but scotty parker would be a better fit in midfield in the EPL.

Re: Manchester United 2011/12
If you think Parker is even in the same class as Modric, you're watching the wrong sport.

Re: Manchester United 2011/12
for the english game, yeh i think he is and if i was taking them for free then of course id take modric as he has more upside but financially speaking...west ham were relegated, parker is going to be available cheaper and with cheaper wages so id rather take my chances with himBow Ties Are Cool wrote:If you think Parker is even in the same class as Modric, you're watching the wrong sport.

Modric, Van Der Vaart, Bale and Dawson average players? Hand off it mate.
Re: Manchester United 2011/12
King is quality too, it's just a shame for you guys that he's rarely fit.

He would be garbage according to this United tool. We should judge by his standards. Lets begin..Bow Ties Are Cool wrote:King is quality too, it's just a shame for you guys that he's rarely fit.
Xavi is shit
Re: Manchester United 2011/12
Messi is overrated. Cuts in onto his left foot too much.

Agree that Phil Jones is a bit overpriced ..

It's pretty gross watching Yids and Bow Ties hook up in this thread. They should get a private message thing going so they can hook up without grossing us hetro's out.

Just because we have the same opinion that Modric is better than Parker? Please, we're just sensible. What's your opinion then?LFTWNG11 wrote:It's pretty gross watching Yids and Bow Ties hook up in this thread. I'd prefer Jarvis over Bale. Jarvis has the talent, though Bale does have a financial upside. I feel Jarvis is a stud. I'd rather have Harry Kewell back at Liverpool than Messi because Kewell is premier league proven.
@Der_Tiser: pure brilliance.

Re: Manchester United 2011/12
you must admit Modric at his best is far superior then Parker
but Parker is a lot more consistent, Modric goes missing from time to time but then again he is playing with decent players
Parker looks so good because he was playing in a rubbish team

I'm pretty sure he was just mirroring Manu4life's comment above. IE: he'd rather Parker over Modric...
The lack of blue text could mean otherwise though...
I mean he does like Lucas

Andy Gray has even said Messi would struggle. Kewell has scored 68 goals against English teams on English soil where as Messi has only scored 1? Also I'd rather have Beckham than Hazard, Beckham is premier league proven.OldRedback wrote:You've just shot any credibility you ever had or will have mate.Lucas is god wrote:I'd rather have Harry Kewell back at Liverpool than Messi because Kewell is premier league proven.
Modric is not even in the same league as Parker -.- Also Adam > Lampard.

As a Rovers' fan, i think you've got yourself a bargain. Phil Jones is a class act. Can play stopper, right back or midfield.

Waste of money, they could have got like 15 Sol Cambells for that money and he's a quality player(Experience and Premier League Proven). I was outraged when they took Carra to the world cup ahead of him and so was he:ontheblackburner wrote:As a Rovers' fan, i think you've got yourself a bargain. Phil Jones is a class act. Everytime i read it, it makes me laugh at how silly Capello was.The Arsenal defender, 35, believes his form late in the season warranted a place in Fabio Capello's 30.
"After my performances at the back end of the season, it doesn't make sense, as I was still fresh compared to many players who are exhausted after a long season," Campbell said.
"I have never met Capello, but you get the sense that he has never liked me as a player because he has never considered me, as far as I know, which is curious."
Campbell was particularly disappointed not to be considered as Capello called Jamie Carragher, 32, out of retirement as defensive cover and made a similar request to 35-year-old Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes.
"It cannot be my age, because he tried to persuade Paul Scholes to come out of retirement and also went for Jamie Carragher," he said.
