Hope the guy wth the broken ankle has a speedy recovery. Looked nasty... nothing malicious just good strong soccer.
Inter put the pressure on in the 2nd half. Too many simple mistakes at the back cost 3 goals... that simple.

Solid work by our ressies. Should have been 2-0. Our keeper decided to hide behind the wall on a free kickChico wrote:Bottom beating top in ressies??? What happened there??BeogradGeneralsC's wrote:Beograd V Salisbury Inter

well done to the knights B's for hanging on for the win. Sadly we squandered numerous opportunities which was reflected in the final score. If only the knights players could keep ther whingeing mouths shut it wouldve been a much better spectacle. When the ref warns you about it learn to listen and you'll end up with 11 on the park at the final whistle.liver-pool wrote:A's Macedonia 6 - 0 Sthn Knights

P.S - yes you can get sent off after the whistle for ungentlemanly conduct towards the ref.
The main match was just a white wash and the knights never looked like scoring.
great result for the lads on the pitch and great result for the 300 off the pitch.
and the BESA award goes to the knights supporter with the comment ' shuddappa your face'... must be the foreman at the sewerage section of the Desal Plant

Your club is a disgrace and everyone knows it
And I think the Besa award goes to the number 10 in the first team who refused to leave when sent off and then threw racial abuse at everyone

you whingeing sore losers...you were taught a football lesson today and still you complain....and the #10 tore you apart and scored 4 goals.... and your number 3 fell over from a push like a little b i t c h. The only disgrace was your efforts at playing football as you clearly have no idea and are nothing more than goal average for the rest of the competition...have fun cleaning the septic tank at the desal plant.Knight15 wrote:handy_man wrote:well done to the knights B's for hanging on for the win. Re: Sunday Results 5th June
A very entertaining game today, we found ourselves 2 nil down after 25 mins from a great brace by the BL #9 unfortunately he received a second yellow after 35 and was sent off. We worked our way back into the game after the send off and leveled it at 2-2 at HT. The game was very passionate and at half time some spectators made a comment to the ref which he decided to call off the game. Unfortunately this referee was the same who officiated the BESA game a few weeks back. Luckily myself and the BL coach managed to get the game back on with the ref back on board. We scored early in the 2nd half and after two lengthy injury delays and another dubious BL send off BL were able to equalize in the 51st minute. A very earnt point for BL with 9 men, we should have done a lot better against 10 then 9. Thanks to Barry and the BL lads for coming in for a drink.lfc cfc wrote:Brahma Lodge v Viking

Knights were only 1-0 down at half time and it wasn't until after the break that Macedonia looked to dominate the game.
Knights without regulars Chris Bradley (missed flight) Paul Martin (away for work) Scott Bradley (recovering from his previous nights Mu Thai bout) and Glen Crute, David Mooney and Ben Jones going into the game with injuries. Added to that losing keeper Phil Smith (who had already played a full game for the Reserves) after the opening goal with a hand injury who was replaced by Ben Vidgeon with a hamstring injury...and many reserves players heading off to Adelaide Oval leaving an shoestring bench.
Not really excuses ....but a reality...Macedonia could have had 10 but for missed chances and some excellent saves from Ben Vidgeon...
Mustafa Ipekdal was the only real danger player for Macedonia and looked speedy and impressive with his 4 goals but in my opinion disgraced himself with his late send off and his "crotch grabbing" gestures towards the visiting spectators when he returned to the field to celebrate his teams win. For that reason alone I refused to have an after game beer in their clubrooms.
I guess the atmosphere had been set by the debacle ending to and handling of the Reserves game.
Met and spoke with Baris Ergul at the game and wish him well with his recovery from injury...
PS - there is no sewerage section at the Desalination Plant....you must be thinking of the Christies Beach Waste Water Treatment Plant.

good onya swanny...ill say it was good to meet and chat with you....dissapointed you didnt stay for a drink but i guess the crotch grabbing incident was worse than your reserves player who dropped his strides towards the ref on his way off the pitch after being sent off still waiting for the pics but i can understand it takes a bit longer than usual to upload 6 all the bestKing Eric Bloodaxe wrote:A very entertaining game today, we found ourselves 2 nil down after 25 mins from a great brace by the BL #9 unfortunately he received a second yellow after 35 and was sent off. Have to say I didn't witness that, so I'll take it on board that it happened.....but for the sake of your Club's reputation and Amateur football please tell Santa (in a nice way) it's time to move back to the sidelines and just watch...handy_man wrote:

swanny im happy to tell him but mate he made it clear to both sides that he would not put up with backchat etc and i cant understand why players juust dont get on with the game instead of complaining, swearing etc etc....he might have got a few decisions wrong like any human would but for the most he was fair giving free kicks to both sides. If it were the main game and your players behaved that way and got sent off noone wouldve complained but because its a reserves game players seem to think they can say and do what they like.... im sorry but im 100% behind Tom for the sends offs and any neutral would agreeswannsong wrote:Have to say I didn't witness that, so I'll take it on board that it happened.....but for the sake of your Club's reputation and Amateur football please tell Tom (in a nice way) it's time to move back to the sidelines and just watch...handy_man wrote:

He booked one player for saying, I quote..."look at the linesman"...the send offs were a build up of frustration.....suggestion...I also witnessed backchat from several MU Lions players that went unchecked....anyway, I stand by what I said.handy_man wrote:swanny im happy to tell him but mate he made it clear to both sides that he would not put up with backchat etc and i cant understand why players juust dont get on with the game instead of complaining, swearing etc etc....he might have got a few decisions wrong like any human would but for the most he was fair giving free kicks to both sides. Re: Sunday Results 5th June
Tom is a terrible ref. Even in a friendly 7aside comp he wanted to be the center of attention. I Would 100% back up the knights here. When you get frustrated it's hard to control emotions & certainly if the decisions aren't the same for both teams.swannsong wrote:Have to say I didn't witness that, so I'll take it on board that it happened.....but for the sake of your Club's reputation and Amateur football please tell Tom (in a nice way) it's time to move back to the sidelines and just watch...handy_man wrote:

Hang up the whistle Tom. For the good of the game.
