Does your team have special dispensation or something to operate outside the rules?

heard this few seasons back southern team tried to use a student ID card for a player  kid said he had played the week before :!:

simple use the rules, do the checks if nothing to hide the results stand and if someone hadn't brought the cards get them to the game before the end of match and all is fine.

Sorry mate no excuses, no card no play. Cumby have found out the hard way so they do card checks and I cant blame them. You didnt have the players cards then they shouldnt play. Your manager should be more organised, its not friggin hard to make sure players have cards. You go on about all the players want, is to play and have fun well let me tell you those same players get pretty sick of teams playing down players all the time just to try and get a win. If you bring down players, the least your team can do is to have their cards. I think if the shoe was on the other foot.... Suck it up and get on with it.

I remember playing a game in the under 15s and seeing a player from the other team drive off in his car after the game. So card checks all the way for me
Wait, what does this do?

Whilst the rules are all players need their cards it is disrespectful by a club to ask for them. The Cumberland official is virtually accusing the opposition of cheating which is hardly the spirit of fair play.

Given Cumberland are currently top and this is obviously important to them, lets make sure all opposition teams stack their 17s with eligible players, with their cards, to ensure someone else with a better idea of fair play wins the league. At the Hawks we have some very handy 16 and just 17 year olds in the 19s and ressies that will surely enjoy this task.

Card checks were obviously brought in because some clubs were cheating in regard to playing overage and unregistered players.

Obviously as your 'holier than thou' club is above such behaviour and it should be exempt from any such checks.

With such impeccable morals I'm surprised you have any junior teams - I would have thought they were all in church on Sunday mornings.

sorry fair play would be not a case of being disrespectful for asking to check cards, it's more not playing by the rules and as such both teams should do the check no ask is required it should just be done.

did one team not loose points for breaking the rule :?:
did the team in fact break the rule for using players without cards :?:

does that mean they cheated
