Looks like cumby have lost atleast one girl to flinders, with a couple more on the way possibly.

Disgraceful the way the club is being run, and players being treated.

those who are not in the know, always have to hear both sides of the story before passing judgement.

Why would they go to a State league club??

if they are good enough for Prems and arent happy at their club why not go to another prems club like South Adelaide, Im sure they would be happy to have them....

hmm...Prob 20 nil loss would be a part consideration but I would suspect more likely originally came from there, no doubt still has very good friends there.
So why not

What to expect from a club how to run their affairs as per #10 previous quote: ...but somehow I don't think the president has nor wants a say in what happens on the field/ who plays for Cumberland. At the end of the day as long as every single player wearing the green & white play with heart & give 110% does it really matter how much they train or if they train? is true

If the process is level ie 2 people go for one spot and it is assessed objecti9vely, no one I think could have an issue.

(most of my experience is with the boys teams) so I will use an analogy from there.
If a STAR player wanted to join a club (a winning club lots of titles etc and dominant team) (or was asked) and that player can win you a game (viz L.Messi or CR7) would the club grab him and say to the players try and compete with him and the spot is yours if you win it?
Would they seriously give it a go?
you may ask why bother they win the titles without him anyway.
If I were the club I would grab him (because he is that good).revenue raising options aside)

Now are these new players that good that they can displace a good player and are allowed to work less than the rest of the team?

Perhaps they simply preferred to play for their old team and help them improve than to float from res and bench for a club who prefers to pay for a title this year, whether that's the 'right' thing or 'wrong' thing. Isn't it a point of playing and enjoying football and the atmosphere than egos, of which there are too many in soccer anyway

I definatly think it's only a matter of time before a big group move from Cumby. I know of two players that have left, and if players continue to be treated badly it's only a matter of time before they leave. The club could be left with no one if this continues.

There is a place for everything, the top league should be about winning, not playing with friends.

Agree totally, however if you cannot play at premier league level at that club due to certain factors, and halfway through the season you will not move to another premier league club, other factors come in to play. I'm pretty sure state league players ALSO want to win.
