Gawler v seaford
1-1 full time
1-1 end of extra time
Seaford won on penalties.

That's a surprising result with the Gawler vs Seaford game since Seaford beat Gawler bout 6-0 last time they played eacthother. what was the game like?

It was a pretty tough match. Both teams played well.
Seaford certainly had more opportunities but just couldn't finish it off.
Going all the way to penalties i think may have surprised both teams.
Gawler were 1 up til bout 20 to go then seaford had a strike which hit bottom of cross bar but did not clear the goal line, keeper was allowed to kick the ball out to another player before the game was stopped n the goal awarded.
Was an unlucky call for gawler but lucky for seaford and i guess thats just soccer for ya :)

Nice win for Metro Div 1 got their vengance win over Sturt after knocking them out the Cup Semi-Finals last year.. Def. a team to watch out for...

Heard the Div 1 Hills vs Toros game was insane!! Toros down 2-0 at half time and came back to win 5-4.... Not very often you see 7 goals in one half in a cup round!!

I love the way teams step up for Cup Round - It's great!!!!

Great fight back by the toros girls, fantastic result!!

Real proud of all the girls for getting a result under tough circumstances!

good effort by the state league toros , was 1 all at half time and we actually had plenty of chances to score , second half had a few chances but cumby were too good....keep your head up girls you did the toros guernsey proud :mrgreen:

Was good to catch up with you John Cena.
I agree it was a good game from Toros, but their best on ground had to be the GK! If not for several great saves (and a lot of near misses from Cumby too) the scoreline could have been even higher.
Cumby were like a different team in second half when they finally got out of second gear.
