$85 Cat A to see the socceroos
$85 to see the socceroos play NZ is a joke. Given that about 70% of the ground is Category A seats no wonder Cat C is sold out.
My opinion.
Won't be going for that price.

It's Adelaide Oval, no such thing as 'quality seats' for football matches. Giant rip offUNITEDCITY wrote:alot will sell as there are people that will pay $85 per ticket to watch in quality seats.

The FFA do realise the footy is on at West Lakes at the same time? Gonna hurt the crowd especially with prices like that

footy on at west lakes, port can not buy a win and struggle to get 20 thousand themselves, the footy on at aaimi will not hinder the crowd, it will sell out!!!!

$85 to watch New Zealand - or fly to Melbourne to watch Serbia.
No contest really - Serbia it is.

Not gonna pay money to watch New Zealand!
Would have been good if Serbia game to Adelaide. A half decent team with decent players.

Re: $85 Cat A to see the socceroos
I paid about 25 bucks 9-10 years ago to watch Australia v New Zealand at Hindmarsh and it was the worst game I have EVER seen so there is no way I am going to pay considerably more to watch a game at the WORST venue for football I have ever been.

yeah, they held the world champs to a draw in South Efrika!
but, the likes of Kewell and Schwarzer is well worth it, IMO!

We paid the extra money. The viewing on the side of AO isn't too bad were as behind the goals is horrible.
Its high but how often to the Socceroos come to town?

exactly my thoughts Jay, i have bitten the bullet and paid the money , i just hope we get a good crowd so we dont have to wait another 7 years for them to come back and play hereJay Now Hobbling wrote:We paid the extra money. Re: $85 Cat A to see the socceroos
to be honest alot of people will go just for the sake of it , as the socceroos never ever play here.
Especially since the post making world cup era.
Alot of the general public will spend 85 bucks PLUS to see these new high profile and easily marketable socceroos!!!

Alot of the general public is struggling with the cost of living.UNITEDCITY wrote: Alot of the general public will spend 85 bucks PLUS to see these new high profile and easily marketable socceroos!!!
Lets just say husband and wife decide to go;
Tickets; 2 x $85 = $170
Food & Drink ($15 each) = $30
$200 for a few hours entertainment - or stay at home and watch it free?
Why do you think the Category C tickets have sold out so quickly?
