Thats very similar to the one I read about Man U when I started supporting them in the 90s

I wasn't born until 78 so I don't have any from that era infact I only started collecting them from 92 onwards for some reason...

I'd like to have them for 88/89 season, we finished above man u that season - chelsea and man city were even in a lower division. Oh how times have changed.

I think I'd leave it as 1 October 1988 FOREVER!

I'll say one thing for ManCity supporters - they are loyal (or is that sad?).

They used to pull average crowds of around 30,000 in the 3rd division. :roll:

that's what proper football support is about. I went to maine road in 98 (??) and there were thousands of the fuckers and that was the 3rd division. We took about 7/8K up there that day as well.
