So is 3 out of 12!bigpond wrote:Most sides when they drop would at least expect to give themselves a chance of bouncing straight back up - 2 points out of 12 is putting u right behind the 8 balljogger wrote:
What sort of turnover of players have they had from last year. their squad wasn't too bad last year but if they were not able to hold onto some of their better players then it will be hard to come straight back up.

awesome appointmentsprogget wrote:Not one A grade from last year can get a start in the seniors at Westies. All new players to the club from lower divisions and it shows. Today they had six regular A graders from last year in the B's and no suprise tha they won 5-1. Will be lucky to stay in div 2 if the coach keeps on the way he is coaching and selecting and positioning players. Appears to have no idea.

Sack the coach!
Maybe hire a former Dinamo Zagreb coach this time.
Ex FK Pristina star Xhevdet Muriqi is looking for a gig too.

Should always start their captain, he is wasting time in Div 2 under this mentorship.......Time for some more violins for Robin Friday i'd expect.......bigpond wrote:Westies really struggling..French would be feeling some serious heat at the momentMr X wrote:BOSNA 2 PH West 1, PH West shoulda started there captain from all reports.

West Beach V Ingle Farm
The ran held off for most of the day which we were lucky for
A's 2-4
This game could of been 4-8 as there were plenty of chances. We played well enough to win and attacked well. Some great work by our strikers really open up Beach's defence. Beach brought the ball forward well and caught us out a couple of times and some good defending/goal keeping kept them to two. Great to get a win on board and go into the Gardens game with some confidence and another 2-3 players.
B's 1-5
The first 20 mins were fantastic by our guys. I thought it was going to be a hiding. Beach game back into the game though and scored to make it 2-1. After half time, though, the boys got back on the ball and pushed it around well. Beaches keeper didn't have a great game and made the score look better than it really was. A convincing display by our boys again though and the guys are looking the goods at the moment.
C's 1-1
A fair result. Beach had the better of the first half but we had the better of the second. Both teams have a few guys that are better than C standard but the game was a little below the quality I would have liked to have seen.
+35's V Downs.
Dad's Army got its first win on the board with a 3-1 victory.
Womens V Munno Para.
The story of the day was the girls 6-0 win over Munno Para. A great effort and a sign of what they can do when they have a full team.
Thanks to Beach for their hospitality. Certianly not a bad team and anyone that goes in against them thinking it will be an easy game will get a shock. Gardens at home this week will be another big test for us.
