Re: SAASL Sunday Results - 1/5/11
was a good game today which seemed to change momentum between the two teams. Maco's 2 zip up and fella away a bit and allowed raptors to come back into the game and finish strongly. Raptors play some very good attractive football and will be hard to beat. Good banter on the sidelines and an enjoyable day overall. Best of luck for the rest of the yearMegaBonus wrote:MU V ISC Raptors

There were some early calls for them to bounce straight back up too. That is already looking very unlikely.bigpond wrote:Westies really struggling..French would be feeling some serious heat at the momentMr X wrote:BOSNA 2 PH West 1, PH West shoulda started there captain from all reports.
Re: SAASL Sunday Results - 1/5/11
Very pleasing win by the boys today. We were missing two starters from last week due to injury and then were forced to make two changes within the first twenty minutes after two more injuries.
Boys still managed to get the result and it is fantastic to see the best depth we have had at the club for a long, long time.

What sort of turnover of players have they had from last year. their squad wasn't too bad last year but if they were not able to hold onto some of their better players then it will be hard to come straight back up.East 17 wrote:There were some early calls for them to bounce straight back up too. Most sides when they drop would at least expect to give themselves a chance of bouncing straight back up - 2 points out of 12 is putting u right behind the 8 balljogger wrote:

Yeh, poor lad could not get a run in tha A's at the downs, so he moved on. Wanted to play with his mates apparently.

Mr X actually knows Mick very well, as do I and is a good player and we at Vista are glad to have him. First game today and played a half in the reserves then off the bench for 25 mins in the A's and was very creative and had a hand in 2 of the goals.this is me wrote:Gun signing??? Re: SAASL Sunday Results - 1/5/11
Not one A grade from last year can get a start in the seniors at Westies. All new players to the club from lower divisions and it shows. Today they had six regular A graders from last year in the B's and no suprise tha they won 5-1. Will be lucky to stay in div 2 if the coach keeps on the way he is coaching and selecting and positioning players. Appears to have no idea.
