Not sure on that one - am willing to stand corrected but a cursory reading on the subject suggests junior development back then was a mixture of increased parental involvement (dads teaching their sons), private coaching and the involvement of dedicated servants, particularly at ethnic based clubs, putting a lot of time in teaching juniors how to play the game. Good results though and looking through those junior squads of the 1990s I see a lot of familiar names - players who have been able to make a living playing the game.

Was at the game - generally good standard - probably played at too fast a pace. One of the WA goals was from a free kick just outside the box. Every team will score from that position at this age. The skillaroos could have looked for a simpler passes - but thats a learning experience.

that's embarrassing thought these boys were the best in town should be competing against 2 age groups higher & they can't even compete against 1 time too look at some new kids
You are a fool. Your kid didnt make it? Mind you, besides being 1 to 2 years younger, WA played some boys who havent played in that team all year and looked a little big to be playing in the u 14's. From all reports was a good game and the young lads showed some very good football skills. Spose there will always be wankers like you who knock any kind of development program, probably coz your kid or boys you coach werent good enough to get in. :D

No mate, no excuses, just the facts. Wasnt the same WA team we have played twice this year, plus, its about development, these kids were selected for their ability and potential, and are playing kids 1 to 2 years older and they are coming along nicely. You're probably just pissed off your kid didnt make it.

Sounds to me like you have a bee up your arse Jeda. Pissed off at your own ( or sons ) short comings in football? :D Just be happy that kids are getting quality coaching by 2 quality coaches. Wish all kids this age had the chance to be in an enviroment these kids find themselves in. Would produce good players for our state. It's people like you that bring the sport down in this state.

No idea about keepers - I know they are a special breed but they should be treated the same as other players on the park.

If they do not train on Mondays as of now and they play their game on Wednesdays, when do they actually train together as a team.

Tuesday ...... ?

Is it 100% sure they don't train Mons anymore ? I know they had a break over the school holidays and are not training tonight, but does that mean Mons have been cut altogether ?

Don't you love Chinese whispers .......

1/ Skillaroos is a free program
2/ trainings are still Mon and Tues, just the kids a break the last few Mons

Any other accusations Jeda ??

Wait until next years Skillaroos, and I wonder if you'll still be saying it's a way fir the Feds to 'make money' ......

:x it's a ridiculous situation  what is the purpose of the 'state' re skilaroos :?: go watch their games & training :? I'm told it shouldnt be about winning but they're not even developing  it leaves us questions  are these the best in the state :?: is the FFSA state system a failure :?:
 heads must role :!: who's in charge, Mundy :?:
 all clubs should go have a look at what the FFSA have created & spent your money + parents money on  lucky if their will be a 5% return from players developed sufficiently to become elite :(
Where's that gov review :?:
