Can't wait for this one. After the last encounter at Brahma finished 2-3 to Macos and pretty much cost Brahma promotion in 2009 we'll be hoping to return the favour this time around. :D

Huge crowd expected.... 'Mon the Bra!

I think BEOGRAD VS BOSNA is a slightly bigger rivalry :clown: seing as the 2 ethnic groups that back the clubs were at war in the mid 90's :!:

How different it couldve been if Brahma didnt miss that penalty in the second game in '09'. Will be a huge game as always, think Maso will get over the line though in another tight and bruising derby in Brahma Lodge.

What does a war anytime between any 2 countries have anything to do with AMATEUR FOOTBALL on a sunday you :clown:
There's plenty big rivalries in the Amateurs that bring great games and big crowds especially in the sunday leagues and BRAHMA v MACOS is definately one of them..
Big game comin up!!!

There were 3 awsome free kicks including one from about 40 yards from Macos and a screamer to win it for Modbury Vista

Based on the suburb both of these CLUBS share, and FOOTBALL GAMES played against each other over the past 40 years. Not some war that has absolutely nothing at all to do with the SAASL. Gypisies v Bogans, whatever floats your boat, still more interest than last weekends Beograd Bosna game.

Hey, hey, take it easy on Delije.
Poor fella drove all the way here from his home, on a tractor, no less.
He still feels passionate about things in his homeland.
Waging war is second only to football in serbia.
Followed closely by handball, shooting up and basketball.

sadly Delije if you read the post about last weeks game between Beograd and Bosna it dosent appear to have ben filled with hatred and rivalry at all  now i dont give a crap who's who but unless you were born n bred in Serbia proper and not moved there from Bosna or Croatia on your way to Australia i suggest you go easy on the name calling as its embarrassing to the Serbian peoples and the rivalry between Brahma and Maco is far greater than a cevapcici eating contest at Mawson Lakes.[/quote]
