Sounds like fun. The Sat prem team didn't seem to be up to the level.

DK HEADS
CSL is the softest football I've ever seen.
I saw a game & both payers pulled out of the tackle & left the ball behind,
You wouldn't come out of the change rooms for the second half against a Sunday Select side Guaranteed FAGS

Yeah thinking about it I don't think we should play. We've already beaten the state amateur team and have eveything to loose.

Well spoken by RING NUGGET, just because they beat us doesn't mean they're better than us. They could beat us every time and we would still be better than them .... because they are homosexual and decline to have their legs broken in a sporting contest.
We however are not homosexual (except for RING NUGGET) and require that all players allow their legs to be broken to prove their manhood.

Don't get upset with me, it was your association that picked "your" state side. Get into them.

If you think that was a state team then keep wet dreaming. It was a "Saturday Select" or have you conveniently forgotten?

It was a Saturday Select squad chosen out of players available from the saturday teams to celebrate the 25th year of the SAASL Saturday amatuer competition. CSL pull your head in. If you played a full SAASL state team you would get your arses whipped big time!

there should be ONE amateur/non-professional competition. Imagine how great it would be with all current clubs combined.

Its a distant pipe dream at the moment though. FFSA are in so many battles, it will be interesting to see how long it all lasts.

Agreed Jay, FFSA have lots of their own issues to sort out with their current member clubs, let alone another 100+ from the SAASL!

Yes i agree a Sunday select team would beat a CSL select team. I had a bit of spare time yesterday and Nugget seemeed so passionate about the subject i wanted to poke the bear a little. Thanks for your help.

Swanny - Already copped it re the Loose and i did have to do a Nugget and google Lautrec.

I agree with Lozza / all that 1 amateur comp would be fantastic with a simple promotion relegation across the whole competition.

Good luck to all on the weekend.

end of the day facts are facts

CSL select team defeated Sat amateur team 2 years ago

until they playoff against Sunday amateur team, then everyone can talk

"would" "if" "maybe" means nothing until they play

Nobody is disputing any results. I recall going to watch games at Athelstone 7-a-side that night because the playing standard was higher.

Now everyone else just shut the fcuk up becuase this forum is not supposed to promote any "woulds" "ifs" and "maybes".
