Top 10 players in Sat League

Alot of talk on this forum is about the Sunday league and the quality they have in that division but what players on a Saturday make a difference?

My Top 10 from the players i know of adjust yours where you see fit. Not quite up to date with all the player moves this year so fill me in if their are new players that would make it...

1) Scalzi (A Villa)
2) Charlie Holding (Bosa)
3) Musci (A Villa)
4) Minnillio (Bosa)
5) George Vatsilias (Wanderers)
6) Kanga (Africa)
7) Goldstone (Sturt Marion)
Calabria (S Villa)
9) Barnard (Sturt Marion)
10) Pattinson (Bosa)

Probs a bit harsh on Adelaide Villa who would probs have 6 or 7 in the top 20

Don't know alot about Old Ignitians and Stirling

Isn't Josh Christison playing for MA Hawks? Played and starred in Croydon's PL win last season. He'd be better than just about all of them.

D Tassone at Adelaide Villa is up there for me.

Charles Holding consistently ripping teams to shreds for the last 10 years or so.

Zelko Popovic still banging in goals at 150 for Budapest! Actually, i think he's only 44ish.

We've got a couple down at the Vipers but I'm keeping my cards close to my chest til the halfway mark

I doubt it and can't recall it ever happening in any of the COC games to date.

I think it would be a great idea to instigate this as an annual game, maybe for a trophy honouring the late Bob Cox.
I don't remember anything in previous years Nuggett but they did put together a saturday select team that played against a CSL team a couple of years ago.
There was also another one off game between a northern & southern select team many years ago (when I was at the gardens) - pretty sure Swannsong has put up a photo from the archives

In a Champions of Champions game with 8 men still drunk from there league Victory 2 weeks before, I was at the game & the Referee was absolute shocker!!!
