Good job Raiders.
Would have loved to see the Croydon coach during this one ....
Oh wait sorry results mean nothing... its all about development lol
maybe, I hear a few of their players in state squads & first team seam to be on fire with a lot of stock from juniors only city seem to be the only other team to produce quality

Do City produce it? or players just go there so it produces itself.

That's correct, especially at this early stage and in the junior leagues. The results that count are how many juniors get to play at the highest senior leagues.
Yes, would be great to have all the teams win but not at the cost of development. At the moment the the team has lost a few players to higher grades in and outside, one is training and playing up and only gets to see the team on game day. Hopefully the team can win more than they lose, as long as they keep developing it'll happen.
Best wishes to the Croydon boy taken to hospital by Ambulance, news is he suffered a tear to the pelvic bone but should be back in action in 6 weeks.

Please confirm that the injury was not caused by a Raiders player otherwise people might get the wrong impression

Sorry, I'm an optomist and beleive were all going to think the best
The player was not injured by anything Raiders did, the game was clean and competetive. I'm not sure what happened to the player, heard that his foot may have got stuck while turning and kicking at the same time.

Is you comment suppose to be in blue?
Some people tell me that we professional players are soccer slaves. Well, if this is slavery, give me a life sentence. Bobby Charlton
referee in the u/16 game was terrible. Blue Eagles player took out both of croydons keepers, breaking ones nose and cutting it down to the bone with a studs up fly kick to the face (granted it WAS a 1 on 1 and accidental..) and gave the other one a severely bruised leg. and what did he get? not even a warning. i am disgusted at the referee and the player in question.

we've had 2 shockers in 2 weeks. 1st one blew up for ANY minor contact and the 2nd did the exact opposite and let some very obvious free kicks pass. its a wonder how some of these referees pass their course, unless the 16's is the dumping ground for some of these so-called "referees" to conduct their business.
wel our game birks vs comets u16s was a disgrace as well from the ref. hes well known for the terrible ref he is, no sour grapes but today comets were the lucky ones with 2 frees on 18 yard box , 1 penalty, free kicks all over. but worse was 3 yellow cards 2 red cards etc , 1 penalty and send off for a simple shoulder to shoulder 50/50 ball, 1 red card was warranted as the kids got so frustrated he got sent off,but should know better.
