If they were going to be more professional about it thay would have covered saturday's first division games as well.
Somebody one asked if I could spare some change for gas, I could really get away from this place.
I said yep, what a concept! I could use a little fuel myself and we could all use a little change.

Colossal Wannabe Lets face it Sunday 1st Division is the SAASL's PREMIER COMPETITION fact!
You only have to look at Results of the Cup for proof. Really 1st Div. Saturday & a lot of there Clubs are still in there infancty compared to 1st. Div. Sunday.
And you blokes are always crying poor SATURDAY why don't they do a write up on us? Why is Sunday always in the Cichanowski Shield ???
Why because 15 yrs ago Saturday was a sh*t competition & the Cichanowski wouldv'e been a no contest.
It has now greatly improved & is very close to in standard to the Sunday competition...

It's a Great initiative give the SAASL some credence, may-be the Saturday 1st Div. will come in time.

By the way DK HEAD your name & picture suits you...

SAASL DIV.1 CHAMPIONS 73,75,78,02,10,11,13
CHALLENGE CUP WINNERS 74,75,80,08,10,11,13
SAASL DIV.1 RES. CHAMPIONS 71,75,77,78,79,94,11,13
RES. CUP WINNERS 73,75,76,13
CHAMPIONS OF CHAMPIONS 10
CICHANOWSKI SHIELD 90,08,11,12,14

Well done SAASL. This type of thing is good to see they come in for a lot of crap when things go wayward but credit where it's due.

Even though I play in and love the Saturday comp, that is probably the most coherent post I have read of yours.

interesting prediction to say a team that copped 10 last week will keep a cleansheet this week, nice write up nonetheless

I am responsible for the Sunday Premier write up and Preview.
I went to both the Messenger and SAASL with the idea last year and they were supportive.
The feedback from the articles was positive last season so this year the SAASL has agreed to post the reports and previews on their site.

It would be great to cover all divisions but I dont have the time.

I know the SAASL would be more than happy to speak with anyone keen to cover any other division.

If you have an interest in writing and are keen to cover a particular division or even do a club report then i would encourage you to talk with Bill Bailey at the SAASL.

Great work gers1872, unfortunately sometimes when you initiate something people want more.
Do what you can but don't make it "unenjoyable" for yourself.
