Predictions for 2nd round?

Post by Spurs23 »

Prems:
Sturt Marion vs Adelaide city
Cumberland vs Metro
Fulham vs Olympic

Reserves I'm thinking will be the same winners as prems...

So, Olympic really seem to be a mighty force!
Some ppl insist saying they are not the strongest team, but today they destroyed Fulham very comprehensively.
Will anyone be able to stop them? Not for what we saw today...!

I dunno I think City beating Sturt 5-0 is pretty impressive! But crikey 6 goals to quigs-not bad. Too early for bets on top goalscorer?

Impressive indeed.
6 goals in a game is amazing!
I wonder if the Fulham defenders were actually good enough to play against Quigley or if they left her a bit too free to cause trouble? Will see when they play teams like say, Metro with the strong defenders they have if she can score so easily. I wonder how much she would influence a game if she was marked tightly...Despite this, she has the reputation of being the best attacker in SA so, there's really nothing strange if she's the leading goalscorer. looks like Olympic are going to rule the season.

Not really Chilvers hasn't played for a while and garlick just scored a cracker! As a team just played better - from watching don't think Cumby formation is working that well.

Bit early to be looking at changing formation after 2 games not just after preseason getting a system in place one would think.
Too many quality ins (Calder, Slater, Trimboli, Harry, Campbell) to keep them down.
Should be expecting a top 2 finish with team & Reserve depth, plenty of rounds to go!

Oh yeah early days-Slater, Harry, Calder along with other established players- great recipe, just think they'd do better with a traditional game plan to set themselves up. Definitely right though early days and with probably the strongest prems/res squad in depth have the potential to finish top 3.
