still bitter that the game is on sunday, at ur ground!

neways, should be a cracker, AV usually starts slow in pre-season games, so Gardens should have an easy win, this time in 90mins though!

El Diego your bitterness should be directed at your players for losing the Champions of Champions no prizes for second place mate & besides who'd want to go & watch a game on Saturday at West Lakes.

Looking forward to the games this SUNDAY at PARAFIELD GARDENS will be a big day.

3pm KO - A's Cichanowski Shield vs Adelaide Villa
1pm KO - B's vs Adelaide Villa

Other games;
1pm KO - State League Womens vs Para Hills Knights
9am KO - U15 Girls vs Sturt Marion

The Gweet will probably be in the caravan or on the BBQ you wont miss him.

ohhh lefty, i think it would be fair, that considering We played Gradens at their ground last year, for the CHampions game, a suitable and fair thing to do, was either play on sunday at our ground, or saturday at ur ground??????

add to that, we played against Ingle farm at their ground last st season for the chic shield, i believe on saturday?????

neways, it should be a good hit out for our boys, against the div1 Sunday record breaking champions!!

Not a Gardens supporter but sounds like you are trying to use the reverse psychology on the Gardens with your comments but you know deep down you guys are primed for this game and if not you are not showing the Shield any respect as it is a long standing trophy and 1 that many teams would love to have in there cabinet - sorry to say but I would be very surprised if you beat them....

nope, ur incorrect.
U just have to look over our last couple of seasons, in our pre-season form and results. Not much to talk about to be honest.
We are slow starters, and in the last two seasons of the league, we have started slow also, but finished the 2nd half of the season, undefeated. A feat which has thrilled us tbh.

Not taking anything away from the Gardens, they are a great side, and will be heavily favoured for the win, but for us at AV, goin back-to-back-to-back is far more important than this shield!
We would love to finally win this shield, but Gardens are a formidabble side, and if we lose, it wont be a bad result.

however, we are honoured to represent the Sat Div1 twice in a row.

neways, good luck to both sides, hopefully a great game is on display and a fair result is achieved!

Well El Diego if you learned from last year you should be primed for this game so going into Round 1 a week later the momentum will be carried but if what you say is right then you have not learned and it will take you a few games to get into it before you get fired up.

Lucky you can get away with slow starts in Sat Div 1 and still win the legue because you would never be able to do it in Sun Div 1.

yeah correct, but we have had our 3rd coach in as many years.

when we won sun div1, we have Rick Cerrachio as our head coach for 2 yrs prior.

With Billy K, the new coach this year, he has implemented a new gameplan and new players into the team (with Rick and Tony taking up other coaching roles)

So in effect, all im saying, is that AV have been slow starters in last couple of yrs, and this year seems to be the same.

NO EXCUSES, AV WILL BE firing this sunday!

How is it possible that you can spell Cichanowski correctly and yet confuse the lose with loose, use your instead of you're, lose instead of loss...

I'm perplexed.

Just a thought.
Should revamp the Chick shield into the old Templin Cup format rather than just give the opportunity to win more money to 2 clubs that won money the year before.
Open up the prize money to more clubs.
