Cheers. Obviously some divisions are not complete yet but the majority are there which is good stuff.

Round 18 - SAT DIV 5 Date: 17/12/2011
Home Team Away Team Ground

STIRLING OLD IGNATIANS BRADWOOD PARK
STURT MARION ST PETERS MARION SPORTS COMPLEX
Looking forward to these fixtures, what's the heat policy for games in December?

Clearly a few bugs to be ironed out,

eg; Div3A first game of the season has Iggies at home to Flinders, but the 3B game has Flinders at home!

and Div 5 seems to be a complete basket case with a differing number and make up of teams each round.

However good to see some progress has been made and I am sure by the meeting next week most things will be sorted out.

You haven't been here long enough

December is usually ok, if games are postponed and you play in January could be a problem

Interested to know from other Sunday Div II clubs as to who is putting in a Cs team. Noticed througha thread traul that a couple of teams are struggling for numbers, so maybe having a situiation where As, Bs and Cs play the same opposition either home and away (aka like Sun Premier A, Sun Premier B and Div8) may not occurr in Sunday Div 2.

Last year being in Div 3, we had the situation where when our As and Bs were at home, more often than not the Cs played away, and vica versa.

i know vista are having a c team so maybe the clubs could request c's at home on these dates to ensure maximum profit/atmosphere for clubs pending availability of pitches

Totally agree. We did try this last year, but our efforts were futile. It makes complete logical sense for all three teams to either play away or home. Obious benefits of BBQ, Bar and greater patronage etc. But also from a logistical point of view with manning the bar and bbq etc.

Hoefully there will be a full compliment of Cs teams that this can be achieved. I am sure Raptors and Brahma also have Cs teams (as we played them last year). From last season, I am sure the Macos and Bosna also fielded Cs teams. So its getting there

Beograd Cs vs Vikings Cs will be a cracker of a match. There is rumour that this fixture may be moved to Hindmarsh.

Any change requests should be in writing to the League for their consideration, and should be in the Leagues possession no later than WEDNESDAY 23rd MARCH 2011.

Looks as if all teams in Sun Div2 have a C team so hopefully common sense prevails

Knights don't as yet

Although if we could entice a few players who didn't quite make the B's last year back, then who knows

You're nothing but complimentary these days. Why would the committee need another meeting to make a decision on something that has already been decided at a previous meeting?

(I think you forgot the blue text).

I'm not complimentary, I charge for my services.

Why would I need blue text? I just thought it was good that the committee had already looked at the fixture list and acted accordingly. Someone's very defensive, let's hope it carries through to game day this week! :?

It's not being defensive, it's called getting tired of your constant jibes and biting, for once.

(you forgot the blue text, again)

VERY defensive, considering I gave a compliment.

As for your last comment, don't know what you're talking about. :?

Why does saturday division five only have six teams?
Somebody one asked if I could spare some change for gas, I could really get away from this place.
I said yep, what a concept! I could use a little fuel myself and we could all use a little change.

Stranger things have happened.....

Hawkesy gracefully sculling a VB that I gladly offered him last season comes to mind. 8)

Seems odd to have three byes when the two divisions below them have more teams.
