If Koscielny isn't giving away penalties he's giving away goals.

Arsenal's defense, forever their Achilles heel.

 where's your bus to be exact?? Bit old because you guys haven't had an open top since the 60's? or '91?

because i'm sure as hell wouldn't expect it for winning the CC (or maybe if Spuds won it they would)

We should have kept Sol (Id take him over Squillaci) and signed Paddy back when we had the chance just to inject that winning mentality into the squad.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has revealed his intention to return to the club, saying: "If, one day, they want me, I will come back. When, I don't know, I just want to be back."

Henry, 33, scored 226 goals and earned the adoration of the Gunners' faithful during a successful eight-year spell with the club, before moving on to Barcelona in 2007.

The striker had some success at the Camp Nou but his time there was ultimately frustrating as he struggled to make as significant an impact on the Barca side, and in 2010 he moved on to MLS team New York Red Bulls.

Henry is contracted to the Red Bulls until 2014, but after having a taste of life back at Arsenal in January, when he trained with Arsene Wenger's side to mainatin his fitness during the MLS off-season, the former Gunner is happy to entertain talk about a possible return.

"I love the club," Henry said. "Unfortunately we know I had to leave but although I left Arsenal you never really leave. Whenever I go back I feel like I have gone home.

"It goes without saying I would love to go back there. I hope one day I can go back. I love that club and I just want to give as much as possible to them, after what they gave me."

Ok yids, I'll bite.
226 goals for a football side is up there amongst the greatest ever, if not, the best striker to grace the prem.
How is a handball in footy making you a cheat :?:
So Harry Kewell, and all the likes, wether caught or not are cheats :?:
If you were playing, which no doubt you do because you know all footy related subjects, youve never committed a handball :?:
He was playing for Barca at the time of his handball for his country also. Nothing to do with Premiership football

More charity dished out from the lads this morning.
Letting Leyton Orient take the tie to The Emirates, allowing the opposition to take half the gate money, then taking the piss out of them
Bendtner, although you like yourself, myself along with others think you are overrated. It was a great performance this morning.

Bring on the mancs :!:

Ah! A bite. Honestly, I don't disagree. Henry was a world class striker. I often felt however Henry would go down cheaply at times, however you cannot compare Harry's handball to Henry's "keeping the ball in" handball. He blatantly cheated. He used his arm to control the ball, Harry's the ball was kicked straight at him and he did not intentionally handle the ball.

Regardless he was a great striker I will admit, but the best for the Prem? Nah I still would give that to Shearer.

Looking like a struggle at the Nou Camp after Messi's goal, I think Victor Valdes is doing a crossword.

Arsenal beginning to lose their discipline and the ref is dishing out yellows like confetti, it will be surprising if the Goons finish this one will a full complement.

you'd think he'd have put it down for a corner. Diaby 1-1

Edit: Own goal

Nasri has an annoying habit of stepping up in Cesc's absence, especially against us.

Agreed.

I think Nasri has had a better year all round. He's probably better captain material too ( if not Verms).

Arsenal are close to signing 41-year-old Jens Lehmann for the rest of the season, BBC Sport understands.

Injuries to Wojciech Szczesny, Lukasz Fabianski and Vito Mannone have left Manuel Almunia as the only fit keeper.

The ex-Germany keeper played 199 times for Arsenal between 2003 and 2008 but has been a free agent since retiring in 2010 after two years with Stuttgart.

If the deal is done in time, Lehmann is likely to be included in the squad for Saturday's trip to West Brom.

Lehmann, who played 61 times for Germany, left Arsenal in 2008 after losing his place to Almunia.

The German keeper was part of Arsenal's "Invincibles" - the team that went unbeaten during the 2003-2004 season - helping the Gunners win the Premier League, while he played a key role in their FA Cup final penalty shoot-out win over Manchester United in 2005.

The following year he was sent off in the first-half of Arsenal's Champions League final defeat to Barcelona in the Stade de France.

Between August 2003 and June 2007, Lehmann kept the second most clean sheets - 52 - in the Premier League, just one behind Chelsea keeper Petr Cech.

Before his first spell with Arsenal, the German keeper played for Schalke, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund.

Fabianski, who last played since for Arsenal in the 0-0 draw with Manchester City on 5 January, has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury, while compatriot Szczesny will miss the next six weeks after dislocating his finger during the Champions League defeat by Barcelona last week.

And Mannone, who has teen troubled by a thigh injury while on loan at Hull, is also out for six weeks.

The Italian keeper is receiving treatment at the Arsenal training ground.
Almunia must be pissed
