In 2011 Inter celebrates Steve Horsburgh's 20 years at the club

Saturday 26th of March 2011

The day event will commence at 3.00pm (2011 C’s vs B’s match) with Steve's Testimonial match commencing at 4.30pm which will see the team of 2001 take on Inter's current team of 2011.

Steve's Testimonial Match will be followed by a traditional post-match dinner, with the official function commencing at 7.00pm.

If you are interested in coming to the dinner its $20.00 a ticket and you can contact Club Secretary Danielle Tonani on 0418 737 193 or email salisburyintersc@gmail.com

Steve has been a club legend for Salisbury Inter and SA Amateur Soccer

I remember drinking the Steve Horsurgh drink he created when he was playing at Para Hills. The Saturday night at the Village after their Prelim Final was a massive night.

Congrats Steve on a great acheivement. Great bloke and a solid defender. Not sure I am going to miss him yelling at me this year though.

Is he related to the Manou who played for West Adelaide/Hellas in the NSL days ?

If you are talking about Chris Manou who played at Hellas some trivia for you. He was, I believe, the first Italian to play for the Greek club at NSL levle and also (I stand to be corrected) the first player to cross town to his rivals in Adelaide City. He started his professional career at one of the uni sides in the old divison 3.
