i was at the bridge too in 86. Happy days...

He was 440k BTW. Keegan went for 500k to Hamburg.

Im in the middle of readying his new book....amazing read....you really get a feel for his true Anfield passion!

I love the way he's letting the guys have some freedom to attack and be creative.

League Champions, top of the league, and still in the FA Cup - when he left due to poor health..

I remember it as if it was yesterday. It made all the news headlines that day.

Kenny must have known they were a club in decline and got out while the going was still good!

Also, at the time I think he did announce it as his retirement from football!

It goes on his resignation and needing a break. Not retirement!

(If I was you I would give up on this argument, you are out of your depth as you have no idea when it comes to fact about LFC)

What does this sentence mean?

You sure when he announced it he didn't say he was retiring from football? Not that it makes much difference anyway, he still jumped ship.
