Kenny D
I think I've made up my mind, this guy sees to know what he is doing. If his run of results continue, Pool should really try hard to keep him as manager.

I'm normally respectful of your opinions, but you're being very silly if you think that was a sending off.Litmanen wrote:yellow card for a raised elbow in the face??

Re: Kenny D
King Kenny is already a Liverpool legend and he loves the club. I think because of his status at Anfield he has a lot more respect from the players and fans and he shows more emotion towards the team and puts much more into the team than Hodgson was earlier in the season. Hopefully he stays on board and wins his 4th league title as manager with LFC soon enough
Re: Kenny D
I heard him say that he wants the job just till the end of the season and doesnt want to get in the boards way for searching for a new manager.
But i see him staying on, look at the excitment and the passion in his face. Sort of like Fergie, when people say hes old and should retire, the thing is he wont cause he still has passion for managing

Kenny is Liverpool's Fergie for sure. I think they'll keep him on.Le King wrote:I heard him say that he wants the job just till the end of the season and doesnt want to get in the boards way for searching for a new manager.

Re: Kenny D
We love him more (not a dig at Fergie in any way) , but that's because he was our best ever player, a great manager (scored the goal that won us the league, and we won our first double with him in charge) , he also nursed the club through 2 tragedies.
He is more than just a great manager, which Ferguson is.
I love Kenny more than any other player I have watched in red, he really is an idol to me and many others. I know FT turned kopites gay...Kenny has that effect on me.

Do you think by him saying he doesnt want to stand in the way is him saying..."PICK ME!!!"Le King wrote:I heard him say that he wants the job just till the end of the season and doesnt want to get in the boards way for searching for a new manager.

Under Roy relegation was a worry, with Kenny CL is a possibility - I doubt we will get it but you never know.

Fabulous goalscorer (the only player I would put in the same league as Jimmy Greaves) and was really unlucky to be born a Jock. Never really got to strut his stuff on the World stage. Torres not fit to lace his boots.

Re: Kenny D
As a neutral in the argument (FT v KK) but a Chelsea supporter I agree e-football - Kenny is a true legend. I was there the day he scored for Liverpool at the Bridge to win the title and I clapped a fantastic finish, growing up I also saw his play and his goals and he made the likes of Rush and Sounness (also Anfield Legends) better players. I doubt Scotland will ever see a finer player or there will ever have been better transfer value - i think he cost Liverpool 600k quid from Celtic??
Whatever he does there will I doubt ever be a real Liverpool fan shouting "Kenny Out"
One of the funniest stories I heard about Kenny, who grew up a passionate Rangers fan, was when he was asked why he never played for Rangers, because he instead played for bitter cross town rivals Celtic, to which he answered "Because they never asked me!"
