POSTED ELSEWHERE FOR THOSE DICKS THAT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT
What the committee should be trying to do is work with the ffsa and vice versa. From my time with the committee they did not want the ffsa on board, they thought they could run it better alone. How wrong they are! The secret is to recognise the talent at an early age and keep them together in an elite futsal squad with the support of ffsa and sasi together with the players parents supporting it. This does not happen in this state. If that u12 State team had the combined support of futalSA, ffsa , sasi, ais etc they would have won and still be winning national championships.
Where is the squad of 2007 now :
1 player AIS - Joeys - SASI etc
1 player Adelaide Utd Youth team - SASI etc
2 players - training/trialist's with Adelaide Uth Youth - SASI - Reserve team Super League
1 player - Reserve team player Super League - sasi etc
1 player - Reserve team player Super League
1 player - SASI - First team Super League
2 player's - last year's known whereabouts playing u19's Premier League.
All of the players 16 and younger at present.
It is not rocket science and until the committee let go of their own selfish little ego's and try and work with the ffsa, ffsa clubs and sasi the Futsal in this State will continue to go no where.
