Relax, dont put the corni's on us.

We need another defender (Ogbonna or Britos), midfielder (Inler looks to be that player).

Then in the summer we can make two big purchases (One striker) and Fernandez has already signed from Estudiantes I think.

If we make the CL, we will need to buy another 3-4 players.

To true TM. although we handled ourselves ok last night it was against a crippled juve.

If only Amauri fucked up his knee instead of Quagliagol...

Not that it could happen, as he does nothing but stand around all day and not put in any effort, so nothing would ever occur to his knee. Maybe if it were true we would not have looked so awful up front. Teams are also really starting to ensure Krasic is marked out of the game by making sure a second player moves across to stop him. Up to Krasic now to show how good he is by overcoming it, and the team has to help make it happen.

I though Traore was harsh to be hooked at the break, especially since Grygera had a hand in all three goals being scored.

Grygera is horrible.

Watching Domenica Sportiva on RAI ATM and Fulvio Collovati absolutely smashed the Juve management for signing Luca Toni. Asked why get rid of trezeguet "lui e piu giuvane da Toni?? Ma perche???" Gold.

Probably was the right time to split with Trez. Great scorer, but both parties had to move on. Huge wages would have been a factor in the decision too. The Toni deal may not be the last in January but it had to be rushed through because of the lack of strikers. Currently only got Del Piero as Iaquinta is injured.

Anyone have any idea when De Ceglie and Martinez are back?
The Uruguayan can go some way to solving the second striker crisis although he also plays on the wing.

Cavani goal – header or not?
Debate is raging in Italy over Edinson Cavani’s third goal against Juventus. Was it a header or a diving back-heel? Video replays do give the impression of a ‘Scorpion Kick’ [see the video below from 1.08] but still images suggest it was just a very special header. You make up your mind.

latest from Italy is that Gaby Milito or Britos are Naples-bound in January!!

Bigon goes about he's business quietly - without revealing anything to anyone - so far he's been very very good for Napoli

he's old man would be proud!!

The Gaby Milito rumour could become reality.

He would be an excellent aquisition on loan until the end of the season.

the weekend that was -

0 - 0 vs the viola, the performance bothered me more than the score.

Grava gone for the year, bigger blow than most people think, most wouldnt even know who he is.

Santacroce removed from the tranfer market as a result.

Pressing for Ogbonna & Ruiz, but both clubs want to be very well compensated.

Milito to Napoli unlikely,Pep Guardiola has stated Gaby is too important to the club to be allowed to leave at the moment.

Sosa has been linked with a move away already after a woeful performance on the weekend, his inability to be a worthy back up to lavezzi or hamsik may see him offloaded. However we would have to wait until next season to do so as Sosa represented Bayern earlier in the year.

Mascara is being linked as a replacement, unlike Sosa, i think he could to the job reasonably well.

Insigne,on loan at Zemans Foggia bagged a hatrick.

Milans draw and wins to Juve, Lazio and Roma make for heavy traffic in the top 6.

Forza Gianluca Grava! heres to a speedy recovery.

Disappointing to draw at home, but the Milan result was a relief.

A little bit toothless in front of goal and now off to Bari for a danger game.

All the best to Grava, a real club man.

I missed this game as i didn't realise we were playing a saturday night match...

From all accounts though sounded like a good one to miss.

Midweek COPPA ITALIA match before the Bari game.

Wednesday morning - 7:00 AM kick-off AEST vs Bologna. Should be good!

Yes definatley a game to miss although the quality of the vision from the San Paolo on 1HD was awesome.
The game is seen in a totally different light on HD compared to setanta or rai.
Well done to 1HD for showing the games of the Serie A but it wasnt one to stay up all night for.
Anyway enjoyed it regardless and looking forward to Bari on the weekend.
Speedy recovery to Grava one of my favourite nap players

Lucarelli should make a return for the midweek Coppa Italia tie, so hopefully he finds some form as a backup to Cavani as the season goes on.

The Sosa situation is a worry - hasn't adapted well to the speed of the Italian game, and will almost certainly be unloaded in June.

We MUST buy a defender in this transfer window - Santacroce is not living up to the hype, Aronica is hopeless and the less said about Cribari the better. Yebda and Blasi are adequate cover for Pazienza and Gargona, and Vitale and Zuniga are ok for Dossena and Maggio.

Would like to see Mascara in to cover Hamsik/Lavezzi.

The Victor Ruiz rumour just will not go away and out of all the prospects, I would like to see him in for us - 21 years old and already coveted by Europe's elite.

Failing that I will be happy with Ogbonna

Crowd was an awesome sight on Saturday night. I guess I was lucky falling asleep just before half time, seems like I didn't miss too much in the second half.

with 10 minutes to go lazio, juve and roma were all headed for draws

which would have kept all 3 teams at bay for another week

but alas i spoke too soon and they all scored late winners which made me go to bed with a massive headache.

conspiracy theories?

lets hope the inter train runs out of steam at udine this weekend

and that bologna and samp can come up with home wins.

i give no chance for cagliari vs roma away but must say donadoni is doing a hell of a better job with the sardinians than waht he achieved with us.

a great chance for napoli to grow on their away from with a trip to bari. their record at home last term was impressive to say the least but this season has struggled with a 2W 3D 5L record with only 7 goals scored in thier 10 home games.
FOOTBALL IS A FOREIGN GAME FOR HOOLIGANS & DRUNKEN PSYCHO-FANS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clutching at straws there mate.

Clearly though it would appear Pellegrino was watching Italy vs USA, World Cup 2006, for tips by Zaccardo on how to clear a ball :P.

Setanta have the rights but so far I haven't seen any Coppa matches scheduled. Maybe only showing the later stages? So it will be the old dodgy stream I guess.

2-1 win - Yebda on the scoresheet, followed by Lavezzi.

Meggiorini converting a penalty for Bologna, before the game really just died in the ass.

Quarter finals here we come - anyone know if we already paired with someone?
